Born and raised in Humboldt County, Andy Parker was brought up with his 2 brothers by his More Less
Mother, Joanie and his Step-father, John (Broker/Owners of Azalea Realty). During his early
childhood he lived in Eureka and Manila and attended schools in both Eureka and Arcata.
Andy attended St. Bernard's High School in Eureka and while there starred in Basketball
(he led the league in scoring) and track. The next stop was Humboldt State University, where
in 1997 he earned a B.A. in History.
His career path took him into the restaurant industry, where he served as a Manager, Director of
Catering and later Vice President of CAL-PACIFIC Restaurants INC.
Some of his accomplishments included:
~ Designing, Obtaining Funding, and Opening Mazzotti's Ristorante Italiano in Arcata, California.
~ Designing, Obtaining Funding, and Opening a Food Production Facility in Eureka, California.
~ Winning "Best Catering on the North Coast 2004" as voted by the Readers of the Times-Standard.
In 2004, at the behest of his parents, Andy decided to make the jump into Real Estate and
in 2006 he sold his interest in the restaurant business and became a full-time Realtor. This allowed
him to focus on his clients at work and to spend more time with his wife, Heidi, and their three
children, Dylan, Shay and Natalie.
He specializes in Residential Real Estate, but his background as a business owner allows him to
consult his clients about Commercial Real Estate matters. He works with Tech-Savvy clients who
appreciate his attention to detail and business-like manner. As a life-long resident he knows
Humboldt County extremely well and can advise and assist clients with relocation as well.
Andy has developed a deep appreciation for Humboldt County's sense of community, outdoor
activities and of course, it's natural beauty. This truly is one of the best places to live.
