Sold a home in 2012.
I highly praise Hunter as my real estate agent. I anticipated it would take a long time to sell my deteriorating Northern Neck property in a poor economy. However, Hunter successfully sold the property in a very short period of time. He is a very dedicated and aggressive agent and a true pleasure to work with. I unequivocally recommend Hunter to be your real estate agent.

Hunter helped us navigate the sale of our property that was made more complicated by a "first right of refusal" clause. He was persistent in seeking potential buyers and worked to help explain the process and minimize stress for all involved. We most enthusiastically recommend him for anyone seeking a home or property in the Deltaville/Middle peninsula area!

Hunter is the most excellent agent my husband and I have ever had to use during the years. He is totally an honest, caring and informed agent who truly cares about his clients. Bill and I feel as though he was a friend and not just a business aquaintance. He got everything done in a timely manner, which took a lot of the stress of selling a home from us. He answered his phone about 95% of the time and when he was unavailabe, he got back to us very quickly. He certainly had the patience with us and if the need ever arose, we would not hesitate to use him again. Besides, his number of sales for 2012 speak for themselves.

Bought a Single Family home in 2012 in Gloucester, VA.
I'm going to be honest here- I went through 3 agents before meeting Hunter. The other agents were either unable to deal with my schedule, or would refuse to show me homes that were not listed with their agency. I was a little apprehensive using a realtor whose picture was continually posted next to the houses I was looking at. I am extremely glad I chose to contact Hunter.
I have gone through the process a couple of times in the past- in California, and in Texas, as well as taking real estate classes in California- but this was my first purchase. Hunter returned my e-mail extremely quickly. I sent him a list of homes I would like to look at on short notice. Hunter e-mailed me back with specifics on the homes I had chosen and let me know that one was already under contract (which I verified with the listing agent) and that two others were short sales (which I had overlooked). I met with Hunter at the first house on the list. He was smiling and friendly and I immediately felt at ease dealing with him.
I am a little OCD, so I had previously looked at the houses before asking to tour them with Hunter. He didn't look at me weird when I started performing simple home inspection tests, checking outlets, using a level, and taking a water sample. We went on to look at a few other houses and discussed each one with him and my girl. He was very honest and wouldn't hesitate to bring up a counter point to certain issues but agreed with others. He was VERY patient even though it was pretty late by the time we finished at the third house. In my opinion- a sign of a true professional.
We made an offer on the first house we had looked at- and Hunter actually submitted the first offer (unlike a previous Texas agent who said they did then came back asking for more) My offer was accepted.
Hunter was there for the home inspection. Again- I was a little apprehensive using an inspector recommended by my realtor, and again I was glad I did. A co-worker just had an inspection and purchased a home. Within a couple of weeks he had to have plumbing redone and a rotten floor fixed that the inspector missed. Hawkeye- whom Hunter recommended went through everything systematically and I have found no further issues then those he noted in the weeks after moving in.
All in all- I know I am not an easy person to work with at times. I am stubborn, opinionated, demanding, and pay extreme attention to detail. My dealing with Hunter were fantastic. When I had an issue or concern- I would call. He would take care of everything- quickly. If he didn't have an answer he uld be honest and say " don't know"- then would get the answer and call or txt me back. I had an issue with an insurance claim. Hunter was on vacation. He made SURE the situation was handled WHILE ON VACATION. I would recommend him to ANYONE who is serious about purchasing or selling their home. It is rare these days to meet someone that actually enjoys what they do for a living. Hunter is one of those rare people. I am glad to have chosen him based on previous reviews I had read- and if I ever have a question I KNOW I can count on him for an answer.

Sold a Single Family home in 2012 in White Stone, VA.
Hunter Law is amazing! We sold our home and purchased another in the same area, both in record time. We prereviewed many homes on line, without wasting our time. When the right home came along, Hunter knew we would love it. His "crew" of associates took care of everything, including all the inspections, and handled both contracts and closings very professionally. They all were terrific!

Hunter Law was outstanding to work with. He helped my family with the purchase of our first river house in Hardyville, Va. He was easy to work with, easy to get in touch with, and very professional. He has been a huge help even after the transaction, as he has updated us on our property after the recent storms we have had. I would highly recommend Hunter Law for any real estate needs.

Bought our river farmhouse from Hunter this past spring. not only did the process go quickly and smoothly! Hunter navigated some tricky issues for us from a distance. Great professional to work with and continues to stay in touch. You can't go wrong with Hunter!!!

Bought a home in 2012.
When I contacted Hunter I had recently stopped working with another realtor. I had looked for a home with no success for quite some time. I was looking at listings and came across a listing that Hunter was the listing agent for. I called him and he told me there were issues with the listing I phoned about, but he was "confident" that we could find another property. My fiance and I went out one day with Hunter to look at the properties I identified as being of interest for us. We met him and were pleasantly surprised with his organization, knowledge of the properties, and manner in which he helped us look at the properties. Out of the properties we looked at on this one day we found our home. During the entire process Hunter was thorough, organized, communicated on every issue that needed discussed, personable, easy going and pointed out things about the home that might be of interest. He had a very keen way of engaging us in looking at the houses. I highly recommend Hunter. Hunter is an exceptional realtor!!

If I had to describe Hunter in one word it would have to be “patient”! However, with all of his qualities, it would be difficult to limit his description to one word!
Hunter queried me after each home we visited to help hone his understanding of my wishes and desires in a new home. I am new to the area, so it was difficult for me to provide an example of a neighborhood that would make me feel at home. So consequently, we looked at a great many homes until I found one that I fell in love with! Unfortunately, there were problems with the home’s septic system which forced us to keep looking. However, it should be noted, that Hunter kept in constant touch with me, the sellers and their realtor and provided me with frequent updates. This saved my sanity as I watched my dream house disappear!
With his encouragement and support we found another home. And, just as he predicted, it was better and more suited to me than the first! Hunter turned around paperwork very expeditiously and provided me with contacts for all of my needs. The referrals worked beautifully and conducted my closing without a hitch!
I would highly recommend Hunter Law as a realtor.
