Hi romapierce -We get the home information from the public records in each county. It is collected and sent to us by data providers who regularly update their information.Check this link from the Los Angeles county assessor's website:http://maps.assessor.lacounty.gov/mapping/viewer.aspI checked your account and it shows that you already edited your home facts. To permanently correct your home details, you may also make a change to the public records for your house at Los Angeles county. Please note that changes you make at the county can take some time to be reflected on Zillow.com.Hope this one helps.IceZillow.com

Incorrect Info

Reply
hi tonya -We have to wait for our data providers to collect the new assessment of your home from the County Assessor's office. Once they have collected the new information, it will be uploaded to our database and then shown on our website. However, we really don't have a specific time frame for this, since the upload for the updated set of properties are done by batches for the whole U.S.IceZillow.com

wrong house

Reply
Hi girt68 -We receive house location, street map, and satellite image data from different sources. We place these layers of data on top of each other to create our maps and sometimes the houses don?t appear in their exact correct location on the map. It?s a complex problem and we?re working on it. This problem only impacts the map itself, and not the home facts and Zestimates on the website which is associated with the correct home. If you post a Make Me Move (or For Sale price) on your home, you'll be given the option to edit the home's location on the mapIceZillow.com

my home map location cross street, year built, lot size, home size incorrect

Hi hileng777 & Ballbatter -Our apologies, our maps come from a variety of aerial and satellite providers and each are continually trying to update (you can imagine what a difficult task this is for the entire U.S.)! Thus, our maps may be up to 2 or 3 years old (sometimes even more) in some places. This is a known issue. We receive house location, street map, and satellite image data from different sources. We place these layers of data on top of each other to create our maps and sometimes the houses don?t appear in their exact correct location on the map. It?s a complex problem but please be assured that we?re working on it.IceZillow.com
