Bought a Townhouse home in 2014 for approximately $400K in Fairfax, VA.
Ellen helped my husband and I buy our first home together. We moved from a different part of the country where the real estate market is vastly different and she not only helped us to navigate the home buying process for the first time, but helped us to understand the DC market. We visited quite a few homes that helped us to get a feel for what we really wanted in a home at our price range, and she was patient throughout. She answered all questions and helped us get the perfect home for the perfect price. Ellen also helped us through the VA funding process with the coordination of our mortgage company (which we used by her recommendation - they were outstanding). On top of it all, we had a lot of fun working with her! I would definitely recommend Ellen to anyone buying in the NoVA area. Thanks, Ellen! We love our home!
Sold a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $600K in Springfield, VA.
Ellen Ing helped me to feel comfortable in the process of selling and buying a home. I had lived in the same home for 29 years and did not want to move. She walked me through every step and and answered each and every question! (She even had to dry a few tears!) Without Ellen's knowledge, and expertise, but most of all her understanding and kindness I would still be sitting and waiting saying I need to sell!!!

Bought a Condo home in 2014 for approximately $350K in Columbia Heghts, Arlington, VA.
Ellen was AMAZING! She took great care of us before, during, and even after the home buying process. She knew the market better than anyone, and has the strongest team/network of colleagues that helped us in the process as well. She is truly one of the best, and connected us with some of the best professionals in the industry as well (loan officer, home inspector, etc.). We HIGHLY recommend Ellen Ing!

John and Kat...it was such a pleasure to find you your first home! Thanks for the shout out to the rest of my team that got through the financing and whatnot to get you HOME! I cannot wait to see the wedding pictures. Fondly, Ellen
Ellen did an excellent job helping my girlfriend and I buy our first home. Being relatively unfamiliar with Northern Virginia, her local knowledge was unmatched. She found us a great townhouse in a great neighborhood. Ellen is very experienced with first time buyers like myself. She is patient but knows when to take charge and get the ball rolling. All of her recommendations from mortgage company to home inspector also worked out great. I highly recommend Ellen to buy or sell your home! Thanks again Ellen!

Evan and Ashley,
It was a real treat to work with such fun people. We'll have to run together when the earth thaws! I'll never forget how to spell your last name! Let me know when the house warming is.
Sold a Single Family home in 2013 for approximately $750K in Lorton, VA.
Ellen did a detailed pricing analysis and noted a significant price increase in the last few months. We received a great offer and Ellen assisted the appraiser with comps to allow for an on time closing.
Bought a Multi Family home in 2013 for approximately $350K in Alexandria, VA.
Ellen is AMAZING! She stuck through our picky demands and helped narrow down our choices! She worked to make herself available for our hectic schedules. When we did find our home she held my hand through the process and kept us posted. This being our first home purchase we were pretty clueless. But Ellen was there with us every step of the way.
She has a great working relationship with area lenders and helped to ensure we were making the right choices for us.We were on a time crunch to find the right place and she some how helped us through the process quickly and we were in our new home with days to spare :-)

My wife and I contacted Ellen at the end of May after our lender recommended her to us. We were first time homebuyers and our previous agent had been unresponsive, so we were in the market for a new one. We were also on a short timeline because our lease at our current place was going to end in August. We wrote Ellen an email telling her of our experience and she immediately contacted us while on vacation and offered to meet with us as soon as she returned. After meeting with her we were truly impressed with her dedication. In addition to creating an automatic email that would send us search results she would hand pick results and send them to us personally, sometimes at 2 in the morning. She was always available to show us a property, even with short notice, and actively looked at the property with us instead of sitting in a corner on her phone like our previous agent did. When we were involved in two bidding wars, which we lost, she kept us positive and supported us throughout the whole experience. Lastly, when our closing was delayed due to a titling issue she offered her basement to us in case closing was delayed past when our lease ended. She was everything that we were looking for in an agent as first time homebuyers. She was patient with all of our questions, responsive with all of our requests, and knew exactly what we were looking for in a home. We would undoubtedly recommend Ellen to our friends and family and will contact her again for future purchases.

Justin and Freeha,
You were a joy to work with. I still want to check out the sky, Justin! I'm looking forward to a long friendship with you.
I relocated to the Northern Virginia area last November. My time for house hunting was fairly limited and my "needs" in a home fairly particular. When I told Ellen what I was looking for, she gently reminded me that I wasn't in Connecticut anymore, but Virginia. We had looked at several properties, and neither of us were overwhelmed at what was available when considering my wants and needs. Then, one glorious morning Ellen called and said that she found it. Within moments of walking in, I knew she had found my home. A combination of her vast experience and business savvy, we closed on my dream property in less than 30 days.
I adore Ellen as a professional, an active listener and a friend. As a first time buyer, I am eternally grateful not only for my beautiful home, but also for her care and knowledge of details that I wouldn't have otherwise known how to navigate.

Bought a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $425K in Fairfax, VA.
I was living overseas on a USG assignment when I needed to buy a house in the Fairfax area. Because I was far away, my ability to house-hunt and view houses in person was severely limited- I needed an expert agent I could trust. I was so thankful I found Ellen Ing! She went far above and beyond to find me a great house in a great neighborhood, with everything I wanted. She was spot on in her assessments of neighborhoods and the local market. On top of that, her expert handling of the bidding/negotiation and closing process saved me from many headaches and a ton of worry. I would recommend Ellen in a heartbeat.
Showed home in 2013 in Anden at The Woods, Dumfries, VA 22026.
Ellen was awesome. She found exactly what I wanted and did it fast. I told her what I wanted and that I needed it in a month. It only took her 3 weeks. There is only one realtor I talk about, and that's Ellen Ing.
