Bought a Single Family home in 2009 in Pflugerville, TX.

Jack was actually helping a friend of mine find a house in the country. I tagged along and guess his enthusiasm, knowledge and genuineness - and 110%+ focus on my friend and her wants/needs "infected" me! All said and done, Jack got me into a nice home, and settled, before getting my friend into one shortly after. Jack knows the market, the trends, has good insights, listens to what you want and shows you what is out there (or soon to be). He does not pressure you. He lays it all out, answers questions, and works until you are satisfied, whether buying or selling. He is a true professional. If/when I move, he'll be the one I call.  More Less

Sold a home in 2010.

Jack Stapleton is easily the best Real Estate Professional that I have had the pleasure of working with. He is incredibly smart, honest and technically savvy. He created the sale of our home successfully while other houses in our neighborhood went into foreclosure during the worst housing downturn in history. Miracle, no. Lots of hard work, persistence, professionalism, YES. You can depend on Jack to do exactly what he promises. He helped keep our house salable even though we lived out of state by then. He will deliver results and you will enjoy the process.

Buying homes for the past 50 years, I've experienced many Real Estate Agents. Many were my friends and acquaintances. All agents are not created equal. Many do not deliver much in value added services or really earn their fees. Some agents can even be an impediment to the process costing you time and money. If you need results instead of excuses, Jack will not disappoint. He stands miles above his peers.

Sold a home in 2013.

We used Jack Stapleton Jr as our Realtor due to his "supposedly" success as "Realtor of the Year 2012" for Williamson County (researched him after the fact and found out that he is more of a buyer’s agent than a seller’s agent). Initially, he did a great job with getting a photographer out to our home to take great pictures and immediately set up an open house. He personally showed our home once and had other agents show our home for a couple of other open houses. When we did get a buyer, it was as if Mr. Stapleton dropped off the planet. We did not hear from him except maybe once a week and it took an act of God for him to respond to our emails and phone calls. The buyers agent sent over an inspector two days after we signed the contract. We did not get any notice of the inspector coming from our Realtor. The inspector knocked on our door and said "I'm here to inspect your home". When I called our Realtor Mr. Stapleton, not only did it take the whole day to reach him, he texted that he didn't know. I spoke to the buyer's agent earlier who told me he did send the information to our agent. After that incident, we did not hear from him until a week later and that was to tell us that the buyers wanted to extend the option period 4 more days. Mind you, the buyer’s agent did not notify our agent of this until the 7th day of the option period. The buyer’s agent claimed that he had strep throat and his team was going to handle it. Mr. Stapleton should have kept in constant contact with us but did not do so. Once we extended the option period two more days, we sent the amendment back within 24 hrs to give the buyer’s agent. I sent Mr. Stapleton a request to confirm that the buyer’s agent received the amendment and Mr. Stapleton did not reply back until close to the end of the 48 hr period only to say that "he came to work at 9am on a Sunday in which most Realtors do not work on Sunday and just received the amendment." Mind you, most Realtors work Sundays...i.e. open houses, showings, etc... Not only did Mr. Stapleton not respond promptly to our request for confirmation but he let the extra two days go by on the option period before we heard anything else. We ended up extending another two days. Mr. Stapleton caused us hardship because of his lack of time management, disregard for our time, prevention of us signing for a new home, lack of initiative to attain information promptly from the buyer’s agent, lack of prompt response to our email, text and phone calls. We were confident because our agent told us that we should have closed before Thanksgiving and it is now close to Christmas. Amendment after amendment to extend when we finally had to close, closing was moved three times because of the lender. Did our Realtor, seemed to be proactive during this process? No, we believe all he cared about was making the sale without seeing it through to the end. When we did finally close, not only did Mr. Stapleton not show up to the closing but he has never called or emailed us to see how we are doing or how the closing went, etc. It has been two weeks now since we closed...he just took his commission and ran. In our opinion, this is very unprofessional and there should be a law as to how much a Realtor should truly get based on performance and professionalism or there lack of. In our opinion, Mr. Stapleton may be a great buyer’s agent but lacks the skills to being a great seller’s agent, at least with our property so be aware and don't take the whole Realtor of the Year to heart....Based on our experience, we would not recommend this realtor particularly as a sellers agent. The reviews on Zillow for this Realtor are old and mostly from buyers NOT Sellers so keep that in mind when looking for a Realtor....  More Less
