Bought a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $175K in Gurnee, IL.
He found the perfect house for me! Right neighborhood, fenced yard for my dogs,sun porch, and the feeling of nature all around which means so much to me. He truly paid attention to what was important to me. He was very knowledgeable about neighborhoods in the cities in which I expressed interest. He was very timely & on top of it! We saw the house I ended up buying the day it went on the market, & within 2 days bidding was closed since the house was bank owned & they now had multiple bids. If Jim hadn't been so vigilant on what I wanted, 3 days could have come & gone and we would have missed this excellent home. He's the best.

My wife and I really liked working with Jim. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and worked hard for our best interests. Jim responded to our calls immediately. He had very good suggestions for how to best prepare the house for showings. I was especially impressed with Jim's creative approach to tough real estate market conditions. Overall we had an excellent experience with Jim.

Jim did a great job in checking out the market, checking on comps, and giving us guidence on listing ans selling our house. He is very personal and easy to deal with. Our home buying experience with Jim Smith was very positive. Jim is very professional, able and willing to answer questions at any time and possesses a great knowledge of the area. He was able to handle our purchase from 2,000 miles away, as we live in California and purchased a home in Illinois. He paid attention to details and to the things we wanted and needed. Jim has helped me purchase and sell a home. He is very helpfull and is very knowledgable about the areas. Jim was able to sell our home in a very tough market and we would recommend him to any of our friends for real estate.

From the start of looking for our first house Mr.smith was very informative about what to expect and the process of the home buying for first timers. he was very helpful with any question or concerns that we had. he didnt push us to buy the first house he showed us .. he took the time to show us many houses that suited our needs aswell as our wants in a first house. he also has checked up on us one year later to ask if we still love the house that we purchased. and we do ... James smith is a great realitor and will use him again if we are in the market to sell or buy another house ..
