Zillow will only give you a rough estimate.  Call a professional if you want to pinpoint a pretty accurate value.  It would tough to give you a pretty accurate one without seeing the house inside and out and without being familiar with the local market.

A lot depends on the price range of the home.  The range of value in your home really dictates what upgrades should be done for maximum value.  Without knowing the values nearby it is really hard to say.

If it were me, I would be present.  The inspector may want to point out some things and I think it would really be helpful for you to be present, just make sure you don't get defensive about their findings.
