My wife and I met with Jamey through a recommendation from a friend. He asked what we were looking for, what area, price range, etc. and after looking at a few houses that didn't work for us we finally found what we were looking for. Jamey was very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful every step of the way through the buying process and we now have a house we love. We both highly recommend having Jamey help you find your new home!
Listed, but didn't sell my Single Family home in 2014 in Elizabethtown, KY.
I knew that having my property represented on the internet in the best possible way was going to be the key to getting the right home shopper to come look at it and buy it. Jamey has a unique way of presenting his listings and providing the prospective buyers with the best opportunity to look at each property as if they were walking through it. This makes them want to see it in person as well. He handled the entire process just as he said he would and made it as easy as possible for me to work with the buyers to close the deal. He was available pretty much around the clock for whatever needs I may have. I would strongly recommend Jamey to anyone looking to sell. He put me at ease and made the experience as rewarding as selling a house can be.

I am a first time home buyer, therefore I had no idea what to do or where to start...until I met Jamey!! He explained everything to me clearly and made sure that I understood what was going on and that I was happy with the progress! Jamey was there with me every step of the way, even when he didn't have to be! Anytime day or night when I would call with the silliest questions or concerns, (and trust me I called a lot) he always answered and calmed my nerves! He has made this whole experience easy and painless! He is one of the most genuine, honest and caring people I have ever met! I've told him a couple of times he has a walking talking billboard for life! You would be crazy not work with this man!!!!
My wife and I went with Jamey because he had the highest ratings for any realtor listed under the house we were looking at on zillow. We called him and he got the ball rolling. He gave us the number for a loan officer with our bank that he was familiar with. They both usually dealt with another part of town but that did not stand in the way. They were familiar with our area. Jamey used an automated email that sent us all house listings in our price range in our area. From this list we would make our top picks and get back with him. On a day that was convenient for all we would go look at up to 4 houses in a day. Jamey was nice, personable, and experienced and it seemed like he could show us any house that we found and advise us on any repairs and how easy or hard the property would be to resale. His son Travis was also a big help. He is also a certified realtor and would sometimes show us houses as a team and other times one or the other would go by their self. That added versatility. We ran into some problems with sellers and the first two houses we tried to buy fell through. But each time it seemed to get better. We didn't give up on him and he didn't give up on us, and now we are very happy home owners in a house that is nicer than we thought was available in our price range at first.
Working with Jamey on a Home purchase had exceeded my expectations on client service in every possible way. Jamey had walked me through the entire process of the home purchase. His patience, knowledge, and response time to every question and matter brought up was flawless until the end, no matter what time in the day it was. Every problem tackled, and every question answered made the entire process painless. With the use of technology, unparalleled client service, and an amazing level of professionalism from the entire team.

Bought a Single Family home in 2013 for approximately $275K in Hawthorne, Louisville, KY.
My family was relocating to Louisville from Chicago and we had been working with another realtor for a couple months initially and were not satisfied with his services. We were stressed out as we needed to find a house by May/June 2013 and had a baby due in April 2013. We contact Jamie at the end of March 2013 and I did a telephone interview (I found Jamie’s name on a Zillow review). I was initially impressed with Jamie on the phone with his confidence and professionalism so we decided to hire Jamie as our new realtor. Jamie took the time to listen to what our family needed as far as the area we wanted to buy, size, remodeling requirements, etc…I had sent him a list of some of the houses we had looked at previously with some of the things we liked and did not like. Jamie took that information and immediately started the search for a home for us. As Jamie knew I wasn’t able to travel anymore due to the baby restrictions plus we lived over 5 hrs away, Jamie would go see houses for us and if he knew it met our criteria he did a virtual tour and would sent it to us. At the time we were looking, the housing market was “hot” and as with our experience with our past realtor as soon as a house would go on the market it seemed to be gone by the time we had a chance to look at it. I appreciated Jamie communicating with his colleagues and being readily available when new properties would hit the market.
So this is how amazing Jamie really is…Jamie had sent a virtual tour to us and we really loved the house. We decided to place a bid on the house before we had even seen it. As much as it made us nervous never seeing the house, the virtual tour Jamie did take was very detailed. He had hit all our criteria and more. Our bid was accepted and my husband planned to go see the house when we scheduled the home inspection. Our daughter decided to come early and we missed the home inspection. So were left with this dilemma of buying a house we had never seen from a realtor we have never met and trusting him and our home inspector (had used this home inspector on another house we backed out of due to structural issues). We decided to move forward as we were in a time crunch. We weren’t able to come see our new home for a couple more weeks. Jamie met us at the home and it was so nice to finally meet him face to face. I didn’t even register for me how much pressure this was on Jamie showing us a house we had already bought. We loved the curb appeal and when we entered the house it was perfect. We were so happy with our decision. We did have a snag with our situation. I wasn’t able to transfer my job as I was on “maternity leave” so with the stipulations of our loan I needed to be employed in KY. With the help of our mortgage person we came up with a solution of a pre-possession agreement. We basically “rented” our home until we were able to close (I personally would never recommend doing as this can become stressful). This was a difficult negotiation as the market was hot. Jamie was confident in his approach and negotiation and we were able to buy this house with a prepossession agreement. We were scheduled to close officially on our home in July 2013. As were gathering our information to close there was a huge oversight on my part which was affecting our loan/credit (oversight from moving, post-partum, etc…). As I was now worried what was going to happen with our loan, I discussed the issue with Jamie (I was not calm on my first phone call to Jamie to discuss this with him). Looking back now I am amazed how professional he remained throughout this situation. He worked with me first on “calming down” and we worked on solutions. He worked hard on working with my mortgage person, seller’s agent and the sellers to communicate the situation and to see if we could remedy this difficult situation. We successfully closed in August 2013 and it was only because of Jamie.
I can’t say enough about his professionalism and his work ethic. He made such a stressful situation for our family with relocating that much easier.

Thank you Karen, you told the entire story of our journey! I have to say it was a great journey, from the phone interview all the way to closing, I enjoyed working with you guys and seeing this thing through. Thanks for the kind words, honestly it was an interesting transaction that turned out to be just as rewarding me as it was for you guys. Thank you for allowing me to play a role!
Our experience in selling and buying a house was made much easier with the help of Jamey! Jamey was very responsive and allowed us to make our own decisions with the help of his expetise. When we wanted to look at houses, Jamey responded immediately and we were often looking at homes in the next day or two. Jamey's experience is easily seen in his knowledge of the area and we ended up paying less for our house because we listened to him and offered less than we thought was appropriate! Do yourself a favor and call Jamey!

Thank you Paula, it was great working with you and Rich. It's always rewarding to help good friends but this was great, the time frame you guys needed this to happen was challenging, making it so much fun when it went perfectly within the that time. I have always thought very highly of you guys, good luck in Virgina I know things will go well for you!
