Being a North Carolina native, I enjoyed vacationing at the beach quite often. I was playing in the Atlantic Ocean in Surfside Beach, North Myrtle Beach (Crescent Beach and Cherry Grove) and Garden City every summer throughout my youth and college years. However, in the year 2000, I moved to the beach full-time and have an even better appreciation for the Grand Strand and the LowCountry than I ever imagined. I had never pictured this area as a place to call home, but I have finally seen the light!
