Janis has been in the real estate business since 1981 and manager of Foster-Healey's Countryside Office since 1990. She received her Graduate of the Realtors Institute(GRI) Designation in 1986 after over 90 hours of classroom study. Janis received the coveted Certified Residential Specialist(CRS) Designation in 1990 after taking the required core courses and electives for this Designation that only 25 % of Realtors attain. During her real estate career Janis has received the Accredited Buyer's Representative(ABR), Senior Real Estate Specialist(SRES) Designation, Certified Buyer's Representative(CBR) Designation, Loss Mitigation Counselor(LMC) Designation and the Instructors Teaching Institute(ITI) Certificate. She is currently a candidate for the prestigious Certified Residential Broker(CRB). She has been a constant Top Producer, achieving in excess of two million dollars in sales annually in most of those years.
Janis was the North Central Massachusetts Association of Realtors President in 1997 and a member of the Board of Directors of the Association for the five previous years. Janis was Realtor of the Year in 1998 for her many hours of dedication to the Real Estate Industry. She was Sales Associate of the Year for her Association on three occasions. In 1998 Janis was State Director for the Massachusetts Association of Realtors, and in 1999 Central Region Vice President of the Massachusetts Association of Realtors.
