Bought a Condo home in 2014 for approximately $400K in Carver, Washington, DC.
I have absolutely nothing but positive things to say about my experience with Jason Martin Group during my first home buying experience.
I was put in touch with Jason when I requested more information about a home from Zillow--he called me very shortly afterwards, we briefly spoke and agreed to meet at his office that evening. We had about a 90 minute conversation about what I was looking for, future plans, as well as answering any questions I had. This was so refreshing, as other realtors I had previously spoken to and/or worked with were constantly pushing certain things on me, and I never felt like they truly wanted to hear what I had to say or what ideas I had.
Jason and I saw probably 25-30 homes during my search--he made himself available and was very willing to work around my schedule; this was very beneficial during a crazy time at work. During the entire process I never felt like I was having somebody else's agenda being pushed on me, and I was always "leading" the search. Jason took in everything that I told him and adjusted our search accordingly--I never felt any frustrations like he did not understand what I was looking for.
Lastly, in a very competitive home buying market, I was extremely confident in Jason's ability to work a deal and fight for me. We were able to openly discuss how we wanted to put in offers, and he gave candid opinions on all of our options. I know that Jason would no anything, short of an unethical action, to give his clients the best chance to get a home.
Jason and his entire team are wonderful people. I have been and will be constantly referring him and his group to anyone.
Working with Jason and Carol was great. We found the house we loved on our first tour with Jason and he was great through the process. He helped us out an offer in that night and stayed in contact with us through the night to ensure the offer was received and accepted. Having Jason and Carol as our realtors was like having a good friend through the process. They answered calls, texts and emails and guided is through to a successful and painless closing. We will definitely recommend The Jason Martin Group to friends!
Bought a Single Family home in 2013 for approximately $525K in Capitol Hill, Washington, DC.
Jason helped us buy our first home on Capitol Hill. He walked us through the whole process, looked at property at all hours and suffered our chronic tardiness with a smile, and in the end negotiated about the best terms we were probably going to get in a very competitive local market. We're happy to call him our Realtor and a friend.
Showed home in 2013 in Alexandria Wrest, VA 22312.
Mr. Jason Martin is excellent. You can tell he loves what he does.
The reason I am writing is because even though my wife and I did not purchase a home, (personal tragedy) Mr. Martin's dedication and patience with us was absolutely the best we have encountered.
And we are a picky bunch. He managed to find us several choices in homes for Alexandria, along the West end, and into the Seminary Road area.
He is prompt, pleasant, and inspires confidence. He knows the market well, and created an offer which we had to back out of due to tragedy.
Sold a Cooperative home in 2012 in Southwest Waterfront, Washington, DC.
We worked with Jason Martin on the sale of our Condo in DC and the purchase of our new home in Alexandria, VA. We started the process in January and closed on our new home at the end of October. Jason was very hands on with us as we were rather "green" to the process. He coached us on how to best stage our Condo for sale. On the purchase side, he was patient with us as our search criteria changed often and shifted throughout almost all of Northern VA. In purchase negotiations he was agressive yet very supportive of our needs. All in all it was a great experience and we are very happy in our new home. Thank you Jason!
Sold a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $700K in Capitol Hill, Washington, DC.
From our first meeting until our property sold, Jason provided exceptional services. He was knowledgeable of the market and provided honest and reasonable advice. He recommended specific improvements, such as additional interior lighting and exterior landscaping that made our home more attractive and marketable; and he suggested contractors who provided timely and reasonable services. His staging service was especially valuable and allowed prospective buyers to appreciate the full potential of the property. His frequent communications and updates and his availability guided us through the process. His positive nature and interpersonal skills were especially beneficial throughout the contracting, due diligence, appraisal and inspection steps. We appreciated his utmost professionalism and would highly recommend Jason to any potential buyer or seller.
Bought a Single Family home in 2012 in Madison Manor, Alexandria, VA.
Jason was very informed about Capitol Hill and had me look in other areas that might just be a better fit for a home for me. I ended up in Old Town and LOVE my place. As a first time buyer, Jason, always answered my call and went with me countless number of times to visit my future home--- just to make sure it was for me. All around I had a great experience.
Sold a Townhouse home in 2012 for approximately $750K in Near Northeast, Washington, DC.
Jason is an honest, experienced, and knowledgeable agent, as well as an all-around good guy. We chose him to help us sell our Capitol Hill row home, as he impressed us in the interview far more than the agent we used to buy the home. Jason was right-on in terms of what work we did (and did not) need to do to get the home ready for sale, and also respected and appreciated the fact that we were busy working parents of a young child. Thanks to Jason we saved a lot of time and money, and because of him, we sold our house at asking price before it even went on the market. He's that good. He has also continued to answer real estate related questions for us, even though we moved across the country. Jason is an exceptional real estate agent, and I can not recommend him highly enough.
Sold a Condo home in 2011 in Southwest Waterfront, Washington, DC.
I've purchased one home and sold two, all within the last 6 years, with Jason. That's right... we move way too often but working with Jason made it a lot easier. My wife and I give full credit to Jason for coming up with the right pricing strategy for our last home. We listed it and within 10 days we had two offers and got above our asking price, all in a down market.
Going through the purchase or selling of a home is pretty stressful, at least it is for us. But Jason has a very calming approach, listens to your concerns, and takes action quickly when needed.
Next time we purchase a home, probably within the next two years, we will undoubtedly use Jason. We have complete trust in him and know that he has our interest at heart. I'd give the guy 6 stars if I could.
Bought a Condo home in 2011 for approximately $800K in Capitol Hill, Washington, DC.
Jason helped me purchase a home on Capitol Hill. He was extremely knowledgeable about the neighborhood and the value of each home we looked at. Jason was very aware of what I was looking for in a house, which saved me a lot of time. He understood that that buying a house was a big commitment and had patience looking at house after house until I found the perfect one for me.
Then, Jason really helped by advising me on what would be the best offer for this newly listed house. In the end, I beat out 14 other bidders. I do not think I would have been the winning bidder without Jason.
