Jason is married to Kelly Carter, who is an Executive Administrative Assistant at Mahaska Health Partnership.  Kelly is also an active horse trainer and along with Jason own Carter Performance Horses.  Jason & Kelly have two beautiful daughters Addison & Tierney who attend Oskaloosa Elementary and enjoy horses, sports, and the lake.

Being someone that gets extremely anxious and annoyed by sales-type of situations, Jason put my worries at ease and made me comfortable! My husband and I were so impressed by him when we first started looking that we both said, "We don't want to buy from anyone except him!" When we were ready to buy Jason was there at every point! Not only did he go above and beyond at each chance he could, but he made sure that my husband and I felt like people rather than a sale. Jason showed us by his character that he wasn't as interested in making a sale as much as he was making sure that this would be the right fit, and it sure is!!!! We could not be more happy with Jason, I would refer anyone looking for a home to him! Jason made himself available any time that we wanted to see the house, even if we already had seen it that week and were just excited! I can not speak highly enough about Jason, when we closed he showed up to check in and even left us a personal note and move in gift! This guy really knows how to run a business-but more importantly how to treat people!!!!!

How too put it into words he is awesome!! He has more patients than anyone I know!! Jason was always willing to show my husband and I a home at anytime and any day!! Thank you again Jason I love love live my new home:)

Sold a Single Family home in 2015 for approximately $100K in Oskaloosa, IA.

So this is the best experience I've had yet with a realtor! Really...I've bought and sold 6 properties in my life and I've endured some individuals whose service I wouldn't recommend to anyone - but Jason is NOT one of them. This guy's incredible! Background: I listed my property with another local agency first - they came in with big promises and then didn't seem to do anything. I had to call them to find out anything - they weren't calling me! This is a realtor that was recommended by a friend too...so after 4 months of arctic nothingness I decided to jump off the iceberg of nothingness and randomly chose REMAX/Jeff Carter because they were doing an Open House in my neighborhood - the other guys didn't offer the option of doing open houses! They said someone had been murdered once at an open house so they didn't offer that service anymore. In any case, after 4 months of arctic nothingness from the former realtor, Jason found me a buyer in LESS THAN A WEEK! Now, that's service! I almost wish I had held out a little longer for a higher price on my property just to see what other miracles Jason could conjure up...nahhh! Not really. Great communicator. Great service. Jason never missed a beat with any communication from beginning to end. Also, since I didn't live in the area anymore and didn't want to drive 134 miles round-trip, I only met Jason when I picked up the closing check...so, there's that additional nice perk. Yup, I recommend you run screaming from anyone else making offers in Oskaloosa. Do not hesitate to go directly to Jason - he'll make it happen for you.  More Less
