Jess is a wonderful and thoughtful realtor who came highly recommended from a friend of ours. We bought our first house with her about 1.5 years ago and couldn't be happier.<br/><br/>We had come from renting in the DC area for 7 years and just couldn't afford anything there. I had lived in Baltimore for a year before that and loved it, so my husband and I thought we would look here. We weren't as familiar with the area, so she spent quite a bit of time learning our preferences (close to the MARC), musts (older home with a basement in a decent school district), and quirks (arts and crafts style house). <br/><br/>Due to our preferences, there weren't a lot of houses in our price range. Jess took the time at each of the houses we saw to learn what we liked (character!) and could not live with. We entertained the idea of a short sale for a while, and Jess took time to walk us through the process, how long it usually takes, what it means for the house and us if we get it. Thankfully, we found our beautiful home a few days later. She called us the day it went on the market and scheduled something same day - she knew it would sell quickly. We were able to get in 2 visits in 5 days and put in an offer. We were one of 4 potential buyers. Due to her negotiations with the seller's agent, we were selected!<br/><br/>The inspector she recommended spent over 5 hours inspecting our small house. Our family friend - who is an engineer and refinished several of his own houses - who was with us during the inspection was very impressed. Jess explained the things the inspector found and helped us determine what we could do ourselves (huge help!), what wasn't worth asking for, and what the sellers should fix. She fought for us and negotiated a fair reimbursement when the seller refused to remove some rubble and rotted wood under the porch and stopped taking care of the pool (turned green - so gross) after promising in writing to close the pool for the season before turning over the house. <br/><br/>Jess gave us recommendations for fantastic painters and a floor refinisher, which were more affordable than who we found. The lender she also recommended had competitive rates, returned my calls promptly, and spent a very long time explaining the loan contract.<br/><br/>As an aside, the whole Remax New Beginnings office is spectacular. They hold regular fundraisers for local children's hospitals and parades through the town. They really go out of their way to give back to the community.<br/><br/>In short, if you're buying your first home (or any home!), you'll have a great experience with Jess! We love our house and owe a great deal of that to her and her hard work.

Sold a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $450K in Glen Burnie, MD.

Thank you Jess! You did a great job and did exactly what we asked for. Since we had a deadline so thankful u were able to sell the house quick! She sold our house in less than 2 weeks!

Bought a Townhouse home in 2013 in Woodstock, MD.

Jessica was nice and she tried really hard to be professional. Unfortunately she was more concerned about making a "sale" then looking out for her clients (my) best interest. If you are looking for someone to just show you what is on the market then she is adequate, but frankly I can do that myself. If you are looking for a full service agent that is capable and skilled enough to lookout for and protect you and your investment you might want to explore other options. My Seller at this particular address sold their home in just 4 days in 2010. It was a very tough market and they were able to sell for top dollar and get into their dream home right away. They were and still are very happy. I just spoke with my client and she is upset about this review and Zillow is going to be contacting her so they can take care of this. If the person writing this review is a past client of mine, I am very sorry for your experience. If you would like to contact me or my Office Manager or Broker, you are more then welcome to at any time. I make that very clear to everyone that works with me.
