Even though The Philly Home Girls have grown to become a household name in Philadelphia's Real Estate Industry, the teams' co-founder, Jeanne Whipple, remains a small town girl.  Originally from South Carolina, she appreciates etiquette and hospitality.  Working as a real estate agent affords Jeanne the opportunity to treat clients, cooperating professionals and her business with a certain home grown savoir faire.

After attending the University of the Arts and eventually receiving her fine arts degree from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Jeanne enjoyed short careers as an illustrator and then as a programmer for the Chicago International Film Festival.  The price of real estate in Chicago eventually drove her back to Philadelphia in 2002 when she bought her first home in Fishtown, the same neighborhood where she currently resides.  During those first couple of years back she transitioned a newly formed business of marketing for architects and real estate agents into full time real estate sales.

Building an impressive resume of top rankings and awards in service and sales volume on local and state levels from Realogy, NRT, Coldwell Banker Preferred, USAA and Cendant Mobility, and achieving a position as Chair of the Ethics and Grievance Committee at the Greater Philadelphia Association of Realtors are important accomplishments.  Still, Jeanne ‘s primary focus is on earning five star reviews from her clients and remaining a highly reviewed Philadelphia Real Estate agent on major real estate websites including Zillow, Trulia and Yelp.  The quality of work she does for her clients is more important that the quantity.

Helping people own the home they live in and love is Jeanne Whipple's passion turned occupation.  When she's not working she can be found playing tennis, hiking with her dachshund off leash in the area's parks and reserves, reading Architectural Digest, appreciating a local cultural event or experiencing Philadelphia's renowned culinary scene.   As a creative outlet, she is applying her experience and knowledge of the local market to building her own new construction homes for resale and delighting in the occasional flip.

Jeanne understands there are plenty of real estate agents in Philadelphia to choose from. She encourages you to do three things.  Read the online reviews that her past clients have written about her. Visit her website http://www.PhillyHomeGirls.com where you will find an online portfolio of her listings, a description of her team, and an overview of her client focused business model. Then hire her to apply her expertise to the purchase or sale of your home.

Team reviews

Jeanne Whipple has the entire package: she's smart, competent, professional -- a joy to work with. Plus, she's so fun to be around. I can't recommend her enough. My boyfriend and I recently closed on our first home - a bank-owned Homepath property in West Philly. It was a long and complicated process. Jeanne had our backs at every turn. Jeanne was optimistic when we weren't. She stayed with us during the home buying process ups and downs: humoring us when we strayed into other neighborhoods (Germantown, Overbrook, Landsowne) and reassuring us after sleepless nights and stressful decisions about steam heat. Even at the end of a long day when I knew she must be exhausted, Jeanne never made us feel rushed and always gave us her full attention. Her finds were consistently in the ballpark. She listened to our feedback and adjusted as our priorities changed. Jeanne has great connections. We were happy with everyone she recommended we use. I was impressed by Jeanne's professionalism and the seamless teamwork of the Philly Home Girls. They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and appreciated. For example, Zoe Draper offered to meet me outside of my workplace, closing documents in hand, after she realized I missed some signatures. Thank you, Jeanne and the Philly Home Girls!

Bought a Townhouse home in 2015 for approximately $300K in Pennsport-Whitman-Queen, Philadelphia, PA.

Jeanne was recommended to us by our mortgage broker who was a personal friend. We couldn’t have been introduced to a better agent! She was very professional and very outgoing so it made the whole process fun and enjoyable. We found a property that we wanted to look at and she immediately was available to take a look at it. Unfortunately we found out it was a foreclosure and ended up being a bit of a process. She fought the seller agent every day since it was taking forever. At one point it looked like our deal wasn’t going to go through so she immediately set up appointments to look at other houses. As soon as we did, the offer got signed by the bank. If she hadn’t been so persistent we would not have the house we wanted! We would highly recommend her to everyone! And her team is awesome too!  More Less

Bought a Single Family home in 2015 for approximately $575K in West Mount Airy, Philadelphia, PA.

We spoke to several realtors in the early stages of our relocation to Philadelphia, but we chose Jeanne for her warmth, knowledge of the city, humor, and sincere interest in helping us find the right home. She worked hard to help us identify a great neighborhood and a wonderful house, and represented us with expertise in tricky negotiations. We had the opportunity to work with several members of Jeanne's team, and they are all wonderful. Jeanne is truly a great person and a consummate professional -- i recommend her without reservation.  More Less
