Sold a Condo home in 2014 for approximately $825K in Sawtelle, Los Angeles, CA.
Jeffrey Sandorf is the most hard working, professional, efficient and knowledgeable broker we have ever worked with. He really knows the real estate market and how to sell properties. All of his pictures and brochures were so professional looking. We need to add that he helped us contact a professional stager who helped our condo look more beautiful than we could imagine. He listed and sold our condo in less than two weeks. However, in that brief time, he was able to attract multiple offers and sell our condo for above asking. During the 30 day escrow, he handled everything for us and answered all of our questions so timely. We never had to worry about anything. I highly recommend to anyone who is buying or selling to contact Jeffrey Sandorf.
Jeff Sandorf made us a huge profit on our last condo purchase and sale. He negotiated a fantastic deal for us when we purchased our condo in Marina del Rey. We loved living there, but after 4 years decided to move out of state. We had to sell our place quickly. Jeff 's pricing strategy got us 4 offers, well above asking, in less than a week. We were able to sell our condo quickly, AND made quite a profit on it. The selling process was painless, Jeff managed the whole thing from A to Z, even coordinating a handyman, or any other vendor we needed help with. He's extremely well-connected in the LA area. Very very knowledgeable, Jeff is definitely one of LA's finest. Take his advice and you will do well. He's also lovely be around, great sense of humor, helpful and kind.
Sold a Condo home in 2014 for approximately $800K in Sawtelle, Los Angeles, CA.
Jeff acted as the listing agent on a recent sale of our property in LA. Jeff truly understands the real estate market as he keeps up with market trends in the area and recommended small but critical upgrades we had to make on our property to ensure a quick and profitable sale. The sale of our property ended up being a quick and smooth transaction. We attribute most of this to Jeff's experience, work ethic, positive attitude, professionalism, and ability to communicate with both parties involved in the sale. We would not hesitate to choose Jeff to represent us and our friends in the future on any purchase/sale of property in LA.
Sold a Single Family home in 2013 for approximately $2.125M in Brentwood, Los Angeles, CA.
After deciding to sell our home, we regrettably did not do the proper research and we chose the wrong LISTING AGENT. This mistake cost us 2 valuable years and would have cost us much more had we followed the original agent’s terrible advice to continuously lower our asking price. Enter Jeff Sandorf. He asked for a few days to study our home and prepare a unique sales and marketing plan to expedite our sale.
Step one: Jeff suggested that at his cost he bring in his design experts and augment our furnishings with a custom designed staging program. WOW, we hardly recognized our own home, but the results were amazing. Step Two: Jeff chose again at his cost to redo all of the marketing materials, including all new pictures of our home and new and beautiful 4 color, 4 page brochures. Step 3: Jeff showed us how he would directly market our property to potential buyers who were a good match for a home like ours. Jeff also arranged special site visits for other agents who represented that particular $2M+ buyer for whom our house would be a perfect fit. Step Four: This is truly amazing…Jeff said our previous listing price was too low. He said it made it appear as if something was wrong with what actually was a perfect home in a perfect Brentwood neighborhood. The new listing price was increased, our new marketing program began and showings immediately increased. Not surprisingly we soon received multiple “over asking” offers.
During the inspection and escrow periods, problems typically arise. Jeff quickly, calmly and professionally resolved each and every issue. Jeff is truly an expert in the sale of real estate. Being a licensed general contractor and an accomplished business man in his own right certainly didn’t hurt our cause either. Thanks Jeff Sandorf for making the sale of our home so easy and rewarding for us.
PS: A neighbor who monitored Jeff’s progress while marketing our home, quickly employed Jeff after our home sold. Jeff also sold our neighbors home for more than the asking price, in less than 30 days.
I am so grateful to have been lucky enough to have found Jeff Sandorf. Before him, I had a different agent who, unfortunately, wasted a lot of my time and money. Jeff, on the other hand, is very hard-working and detail-oriented and he is also very knowledgeable, generous and an excellent adviser. He is highly enthusiastic about his work, is always there when you need him and I really felt that he had my back. As well as being a tough and intelligent negotiator, Jeff's calmness and impeccable manners are important assets and very beneficial to his clients. Despite being the best at what he does, Jeff has an air of dignified modesty about him. I witnessed his diligence at all the stages of the selling process. First, he made a careful inspection of my property and informed me of necessary improvements. Then, having gotten very reasonable estimates for the work, after I gave him the go ahead, he took care of everything that needed to be done. The same applied to staging. After listing the place, Jeff set up a web page in order to always keep me informed of what was happening. Then, having generated multiple offers, he went on to sell my place as quickly as possible, to my satisfaction. I really appreciated Jeff's patience; especially, when I would ask him a ton of questions. I must also mention that I respect him for his honesty and decency. Although I live hundreds of miles away from the property I was selling and only managed to visit once during the whole process, with Jeff on the job, I knew I never had to worry about anything. There is one strange thing about Jeffrey Sandorf though: ... how did he ever manage to achieve such Zen wisdom at such a young age?!!! ;-) Thank you, thank you, thank you, Jeff.
Bought a Single Family home in 2013 for approximately $2.575M in Pacific Palisades, Pacific Palisades, CA.
Jeff changed my mind about realtors. I used to buy homes through seller's agents. He was personable, extremely knowledgeable, fast, creative, and responsive. He has a passion for the business and is very easy to work with. If you're looking to buy a home in Pacific Palisades, Jeff is the guy. He grew up there, knows a lot of people and the area extremely well. We had two months to find a new home, and Jeff helped us make it happen in a very competitive market.
I was very impressed with Jeff's understanding of the value of our home and neighborhood, especially as this was an off market transaction. He was diligent in searching for a home for clients, to the level of reaching out to homeowners not currently on the market.
I was so pleased with his porfessionalism and ethical and fair standards.
He was tough but fair in all matters and , as a broker myself,
felt that we very well represented.
I would not hesitate to recommend him and his services to anyone.
Sold a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $1.125M in Cheviot Hills, Los Angeles, CA.
Jeffrey helped my wife and I not only find our dream house but also sell our old townhouse in a quick, efficient, professional manner. Jeffrey exhibited the upmost professionalism as well as an in-depth understanding of the business and what to expect through every step of the process. Jeffrey's negotiating skills are top-notch as he helped us sell our townhouse for well above our initial asking price. I would highly recommend him to any prospective buyer or seller.
Sold a Townhouse home in 2012 in Brentwood, Los Angeles, CA.
Jeff represented us in the purchase of our new home and the sale of our condo. It was a stressful time as we bought our new house before selling our condo. With the anxiety of carrying two mortgages we were concerned about our condo sitting on the market and not recouping much needed equity. With Jeff’s recommendations of staging, painting and general enhancements to the unit we ended up with multiple offers and a sales price above asking within TWO DAYS. Jeff was always available and kept us posted on all details of the transaction. Before taking the listing he also reviewed the HOA documents and made recommendations to address potential problem areas so that all the ducks were in a row for a seamless escrow. He understands the contracts, marketing and best of all he is great with people while always protecting our best interests. I highly recommend him to help buy or sell your home.
As a complete neophyte in the real estate world, I was incredibly fortunate to find Jeffrey Sandorf through a strong recommendation from a co-worker who knew him personally and professionally. Jeff and I had an initial meeting, to get a better feel for what I was looking for and where I wanted to live. He began showing me properties almost immediately which satisfied my aesthetic and we continued working as a team throughout this careful process. Jeff took the time to get to know me, to better appreciate what I would like and to make suggestions on properties that were coming on the market--even though I would not have given those properties a second look without his guidance. He knew the importance of every buyer becoming familiar with the process of 'looking', and, he was almost uniformly right about the choices he was making for me.
In Jeff you will find someone extraordinarily patient, intelligent, quick and savvy, able to speak the language of real estate as his mother tongue, an excellent negotiator and someone who placed my interests above making a sale each and every time. It was clear from the get-go that this guy had my back and I could relax with him. When we finally did find "the" property, Jeff handled all the heavy lifting, out maneuvering and out thinking everyone on the other side of the table. But that is not all this agent did for me. He guided me through to several loan officers, helped me interview each and every contractor who placed a bid on the property I purchased (and there were a lot), he made brilliant decorating/renovating suggestions, and he gave me such sound, well thought-out and common sense advice that it stopped me in my tracks every time. "Of course," I would end up saying, "why didn't I think of that?"
This was not a huge commission for Jeff, because it was a smaller property, but he gave me the same attention and dedication that he gives to all his clients. He works very much like I do. It was not uncommon for us to be emailing back and forth at 10:30 p.m. or 8:00 a.m. He was always, always, there for me. He was a tireless advocate, making sure every "t" was crossed and every "i" was dotted. Without him, I would not own this property today, and I would have quit early on to remain a renter for the rest of my life. I owe him substantially more than mere thanks. In fact, if he does not come to my housewarming party, I will truly feel his absence and be upset with him, because after dealing with me for many months, I'm fairly sure he needs a cocktail. Jeff was there to calm me when I needed it, and he was there to rally me when I needed that, too.
If you are looking for an agent who is interested in getting you in the home of your dreams, this agent is for you.
One of his staff and I refer to him, jokingly, as Master Sandorf when we watched him do his thing. After careful reflection on that, I realize I can say that without joking. He really is a master at what he does and you should hire him.
