Sold a home in 2006.
It is a pleasure for us to recommend Jeff Hogue, premier agent for Prudential Landis Home Sale Service. While we know there are many good agents in our area, it was most reassuring to know we were working with one such agent when selling our home and purchasing another. We found his preparation, preparedness and professionalism to be impressive. Jeff is extremely knowledgeable regarding the housing market in Berks County. He was able to sell our home in 7 days. We were very impressed by him. He went out of his way to make things go smoothly from start to finish. We are extremely thankful for the service that Jeff provided.

Sold a Single Family home in 2011 for approximately $225K in Wyomissing, PA.
As a Real estate broker in New Jersey for over 25 years I was in the position to choose a local Berks County, Pa. realtor to handle the sale of my parents home.
After interviewing several agents I decided to list our family home with Jeff Hogue.
Jeff was in contact with us constantly and we were never left waiting for a reponse to any questions we had. He constanty kept us up to date on the current market conditions and advised us how to proceed. I was extremely impressed with his knowledge, feedback and negotiating skills.
He was completely involved from preparing the home to sell, marketing the property, negotiating a sale and through the financing and closing process.
I couldn't have done a better job for my family myself if i was a broker in Pennsylvania!

Bought a home in 2011.
Our first meeting with Jeff was a chance meeting. I kept going back to a house online and his name was on it, I emailed him and we set up a date. Although we decided against the house, meeting Jeff was the BEST thing that could have happened for us!
First time homebuyers and trying to self teach ourselves was not a fun (or easy) process. Jeff (and Ann!) helped us through the WHOLE process, never tiring of my endless emails, our endless questions, or cheering us up when we felt low about ever finding our house. He explained and walked us through the processes and found us houses that he thought matched our criteria and likes. His knowledge of the areas that we were thinking of was key to finding an area we felt we could grow into.
It's hard to describe exactly how fantastic he is, you really have to meet him to find out. And trust you/me, he was always available and the most important thing is: HE KNOWS HIS STUFF!
When we found our house, it’s just like I heard people say! Angels sang, the world was brighter, rainbows and kittens rained from the sky…but it was just out of our reach. That did NOT deter Jeff at all. He worked with us, the sellers, and their realtor until we got to a place we could all handle!
None of this would have happened without our real estate team. The whole home buying experience can be a little scary, especially if it’s your first time doing so. I’m so glad that we had Jeff to help us through everything. We’ll be thanking him for the next 30 years! :-)

Sold a home in 2011.
I am writing this from a recent experience with a go getter realtor, Jeffrey Hogue. If you have tried the rest go with this one. What an energetic man. None of the waiting ‘till Monday with him, he is a seven day a week realtor. This is the third house we have sold and I wasn’t getting the bad deal again we had with the other two houses. As the saying goes you pay for what you get, how true. It was to the point where we felt like a jinx. To put this house on the market, I went searching on the internet, I needed someone I was thinking with results. I love to look at Zillow.com and every time I went in I saw this guy, I thought to myself what’s up with him, I read the paper and there he was again. So I checked his web site. What a nice set up, I thought we want our house in those spot lights. So I emailed him, and to my surprise he emailed back almost immediately. I thought to myself WOW, can’t believe it someone that is on top of it. He came to our home for a meeting, checked it out and he said you keep a very nice home, be proud of yourself, and he would be proud to help us sell it. We should let him know, I thought great not another pushy realtor and not constantly calling you all the time. He said if you don’t like something I am doing just tell me I want to be a friend in the end not just someone you refer to as oh that realtor we had. If you don’t like my ways, I don’t sign contracts, I’ll be gone in 30 days your choice. What a statement he made, he will never be a pesky calling realtor, we decided right then he was our man, we didn’t have to let him know. He brings his photo studio on wheels and what beautiful results he photo shoots. In no time at all we were part of his web site looking great. He sold the house for us in 11 days the first time with going to settlement quickly. All packed and ready to go, I get a phone call hours before settlement saying the family that bought the house decided to transfer to Buffalo, New York instead of here. I couldn’t believe it, never heard of such a thing happening and then to us. We were back to square one. We told Jeffrey are you sure you want to deal with us we told you we were a jinx with house selling. He told us don’t be ridiculous, it wasn’t your fault, so he moved quickly to get it back on the market. He said I’ll have that sold in 60 days don’t worry. We weren’t as optimistic as he always is, but maybe I should be because he tells it like it is. He is a great marketer, it did sell like he said it would, in 60 days and did go to settlement. He said a few times that when he sells a house at the end he wants a friend and he got 2 more right here. What a great guy, heck he isn’t just a friend he became part of the family. Our son is going with Jeffrey also, and he is a little more of a hard sale then we are with people, not the house but the son. Jeffrey will get the home of their dreams for them I am sure even though it is a tough buy because of being a short sale. If you want a man that sets out to accomplish goals boy am I glad I made the choice to research and go with Jeffrey Hogue, he will get to the finish line and adopt new family members too. Oh yea, and at settlement he assured us we are not a jinx, he worked his hardest and got the job done not once, but twice.

Jeff is also very enthusiastic and efficient, which made the whole process so easy for us from listing right through to settlement. Listed, but didn't sell my home in 2013.
What can I say about Jeffrey Hogue. First of all, he is a professional to the highest degree. He cares about his clients. My wife and I listed with him back in mid-March. From the very beginning, Jeff was courteous, honest and very easy to work with. Also we could call on him until the late hours of the night if we had a question. I remember after one showing, I didn't like the feedback the other realtor left about our house. I called Jeff around 930 that night and he stayed on the phone with me until he knew I was ok and that some feedback are not going to be pretty. That made me feel really good. But, that is Jeff. He makes you feel good and not stupid. He will tell you if you should be doing something or not doing something with the house. He will not blow smoke. Jeff will tell you how it is and we respected that above all. In the end we had to take the house off the market due to personal reasons. My wife is pregnant with our third child and this was a lot for all of us. When I talked to Jeff, I felt like I was breaking up with a significant other! That is how much we liked Jeff. He assured me that all would be well and that first an foremost we have to do what's right for our family. Again, he stayed on the phone with me until he knew I was ok. After the baby is born, Jeff will be the first person we call, of course after our family and such. He WILL sell our house. We WILL be using him when that time comes. Thank you for everything Jeff!!

If you want a realtor who is professional, knowledgeable, and will do the best possible job for you, then Jeff Hogue certainly fits your needs. However, there is much more to him and his team than that. These are people who genuinely care about your situation and needs; the reasoning behind the selling/buying of your home. Jeff wants to know about you and what your real needs are so that he can find the best possible solution for your family. He is family and community oriented and seems to thrive on the personal interaction aspect of his profession. Real estate is much more than a job to Jeff and his team - it is something they enjoy and take pride in, whether they are helping a family into their first home, or as in our case, helping a family out of a home they can no longer afford because of hardship caused by cancer. We were able to work with Jeff and his team to sell our home while we were still able to do so as a regular sale. Jeff was far beyond generous in our case, and was able to work what qualifies as a miracle in our book. His team kept us informed of anything we needed to take care of and were always available if we had any questions. They made a difficult time much easier, and for that, we will always be grateful. I am sure you could use someone else to take you through the steps to buy or sell your home. The question is, why would you want someone who treats every customer as routine, when you could have an absolute professional who also wants to know you and do what is best for your family? Jeff Hogue and his wonderful team bring the personal aspect back into a process that is one of the most important events in your family's lives, and that is a truly rare and special find in these times. Thank you, Jeff, and the lovely ladies with whom we also worked. You have our gratitude always.
