Sold a Condo home in 2014 for approximately $250K in South, Pasadena, CA.

Jenn was my listing agent on a condo I recently sold. I was very disappointed by her unprofessionalism. I hired her to represent me and when a couple of offers came in she pushed hard on one buyer which had no agent representing him so it seemed she pushed this offer mainly so that she could represent both sides. When the buyer failed to close on agreed date with one excuse after another Jenn did not step in to communicate with me as to what was going on nor did I feel that she fought for me as a seller looking out for my best interests. She neglected to keep the other offer in backup position which also made no sense to me. I also found it interesting that the offer she presented to me was only $1000 over the other offer suggesting further to me that she had her own interests in getting double commission over my best interests to sell at the highest and best price. Maybe when an agent is desperate for business these kinds of things happen. Next time I'll be more diligent in finding an gent with more integrity. When all was said and done I never even received a follow up call thanking me for my business or apologizing for the delays and extra costs incurred by the delays. Highly do not recommend.

I'm sorry you were disappointed with the sale of your property. My philosophy is that the client is always in control of their own decisions; I may not always tell a client what they want to hear, but I always tell the truth given the facts as I know them; and I always put my clients' interests ahead of my own. I never want there to be any appearance of impropriety, which is why I had the manager in our office work with you to select which offer to accept, considering all the relevant factors, including price but also including things like offer contingencies and creditworthiness of the potential buyers. In this case, we had a non-responsive lender on the other side, but I, and the escrow company, worked diligently daily to resolve the issue. The president of our company stepped in to help with the buyer's lender so we could close within a reasonable time. And we credited back to you the carrying costs for the delay, which amounted to around $200.

I found a wonderful property on my first day out with Jennifer. She was positive during a time when we were burnt out on the home search process. She was knowledgeable regarding the search and closing process. She was also, available after closing when the coordination of so many things are happening or order for you to get into your new home.

Bought a Condo home in 2003 in La Tuna Canyon, Sun Valley, CA.

My husband and I hired Jennifer Allen to help us with our first home purchase. Long story short, I dragged the process out over a year.
