The Horton Chrisman Team - Barbara Horton started a career in New York with TIAA-CREF, a non-profit organization serving the pension needs of teachers in higher education. During her 17-year tenure at TIAA-Cref, she became the youngest woman ever to be appointed an officer of this multi-billion dollar company. Barbara retired from TIAA-CREF and moved to Malibu in 1978 with her husband and two daughters. She has been selling real estate in Malibu for almost 20 years.

Jennifer Horton-Chrisman grew up in Malibu and graduated from UCLA with a degree in economics. She then had careers in the property management and construction industries before obtaining her real estate license.

In 2000, Barbara & Jennifer decided it was time to meld their skills and talents and establish their partnership as a mother-daughter team serving Malibu and surrounding communities. They has earned top sales honors throughout their careers and have a deep understanding of the communities they work in as well as the entitlement and building process.
