Sold a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $575K in Eagle Rock, Los Angeles, CA.
I don't write reviews often, in fact this is a first. But everyone must know about Jenny During. My wife and I now call her friend, but back In 2003, she was a stranger who helped us find and purchase our first home.
We had gone through a few realtors and were not having any luck until Jenny came on board. She helped us find a classic Craftsman in the then up and coming neighborhood of Eagle Rock. My wife had previously gone through buying but for me this was my first house and Jenny was great at explaining the ins and outs of inspections, loans, closing etc.
Fast forward 10 years and 3 kids later- our beautiful, but small Craftsman was no longer the perfect home for us. We were bursting at the seams. We had kept in touch with Jenny in the subsequent years so when we are ready to roll the dice again and look for a new house we turned to her. We did not want to leave Eagle Rock and were nervous we would not be able to find a house big enough for our family. Jenny was great at keeping us optimistic and after looking for a few months she helped us find our dream home.
The owner had many offers but Jenny offered us tips to get attention from the seller (personal letter and her professional relationship with the seller's agent).
We also turned to Jenny to get us loan approval after the loan officer we chose turned out not to be prepared. There is no doubt we would have lost that home if Jenny had not stepped in to help us.
I highly recommend Jenny Durling to anyone looking for a highly reliable, professional and hard- working agent. She always has your best interest first and foremost.
It is impossible to overstate what a wonderful experience it was working with Jenny during our search for our first home. Jenny was there for us every step of the way, from pre-approval to close of escrow, always with a sense of humor and a limitless well of patience. I especially valued her responsiveness to each and every (often silly) question I sent her via email, and usually within just a few minutes! In the end, it took us nearly a year to settle on a home that was right for us, and in that period Jenny never once made us feel pressured to make a decision or put in an offer on a home that wasn’t right for us. In fact, she calmly and kindly steered us clear of a few homes that, in retrospect, weren't quite right for us. Once we did have an offer accepted, Jenny proved to be an incredible negotiator, fighting for the concessions we needed, and keeping the process moving along whenever snags appeared. Jenny is a forceful advocate for her clients, and an expert in the intricacies of the Los Angeles real estate market. We feel lucky to have had her on our side and can’t imagine working with anyone else in the future!
Jenny was great!! She's a true professional, and through her efforts and expertise we sold our condo two weeks after putting it on the market. We had more than 15 offers and sold it for more than 30% over asking. We trusted her completely through the entire process because we already knew how good of a realtor she was.. she helped us buy it 8 years ago! Jenny truly understands what it takes to buy and sell houses.. always making sure to get her clients what they want. She'll be our realtor as long as we're in the L.A. area.

As an out-of-towner looking for a house in central Los Angeles for my son, I knew enough to know that I didn’t know anything about neighborhoods. As a tech-challenged senior I was immediately drawn to Jenny’s website because of its organized and user-friendly format and thorough information. I found no other website that compared. On top of that Jenny turned out to be a fantastic agent--quickly educating us to what to expect in available housing, covering many places in a short amount of time, helping us distill what we were really looking for. Ahead of our timeline, we found the house that son and granddaughters have moved into and made their own. Jenny responded immediately to our questions, offering her observations based on her experience, and made the entire process as painless as possible. You won’t go wrong working with Jenny.
Sold a Multiple Occupancy home in 2013 for approximately $850K in Highland Park, Los Angeles, CA.
My husband and I worked with Jenny Durling twice, once when she sold the house to us, and then again three years later when we decided to put it back on the market. Both experiences were extremely positive. Jenny stays in touch. When we decided to sell, we would never have called anyone else. She is conscientious. enthusiastic, very knowledgeable, and determined to get the job done. House sales are complicated and Jenny never let us down. She was there every step of the way. She is also a delightful person and a joy to work with.

We enjoyed working with Jenny. My husband is knowledgeable in the real estate realm and interviewed several agents. He felt Jenny had the best approach and we decided to work with her. She knows the drill, was very helpful in suggestions to make the house more saleableand was able to direct us to some local service persons to help ready the house for the showing, since we live in Orange County. Jenny was proactive in planning a good strategy and then when the house went on the market, she took over the negotiations for us and contacted us with updates, etc. in a very timely manner. Bottom line, the house sold for a whopping $140K over the asking price. Her process was swift and thorough. Not only was she a great agent, she is a genuinely nice person!

We were referred to Jenny by our friends and had interviewed other "top" agents before we decided to list our home with Jenny. It turned out to be the best decision we made. She walked us through the whole process and was on top of every single detail. We had over 15 bids and her professional honest advices were so refreshing! She made us feel like we were her only clients and was even on the phone with us at 10 pm sometimes. We always get at quick response when we had small questions along the way.
We loved her so much we decided to use her again when purchasing our new home in South Pasadena. The market was so hot and it took us a year to find our new home but we couldn't be happier with the result. Even in this tough market, she was willing to work hard every weekend for us and was awesome at negotiations. She's not shy about offering her advices and strategies, this is why you hire her. She truly cares about her clients. She got us a great price on our new home and we couldn't be happier to refer our friends and family to her.
Really appreciated her honesty about the properties I was interested in and would talk me out of them if she felt they were not right for me. that is rare in an agent who usually just wants you to purchase the property for a quick sale. I think she was more patient than I was

Jenny has been a pleasure to work with over the few years that I've known her. I have put her through a lot with my desire to find the ideal home. She's helped steer me away from ones that would have become a burden and when we saw the one I currently live in, she knew it was right. She has been dedicated to me as a client and has responded, followed up with and given her expertise on countless listings. When the right home finally turned up, she was able to guide me in competing with multiple offers and negotiating the counter offer space. Once we were chosen she also helped me go back to the seller and ask for reductions based on work needed with the home. I was very happy with the final selling price and the overall experience. She is very knowledgable about all angles of the process and easy to work with. Jenny will also fight for your rights and not consent to every demand of the seller. I feel very lucky running into Jenny and if I ever sell or plan to buy another home, I will be getting in touch!
