Well from what i've seen and experienced on this site, there is a myriad of different ways homes/listings get published to Zillow...from the MLS, which should allow for updated info/status, but listings are also published here from advertising publications and other websites even...i'll have a listing in MLS, have it advertised in many other places and they will show up as a new listing each time and because those aren't IDX and in the publishers database (ie homes&land magazine) then they'll just always show up unless I delete them from the other websites which I'm just not having the time or energy to do...
I disagree that the house is in very poor condition. The previous owners did lots of work to my knowledge, and the new owners in my opinion, got a great price - possibly under market value and I wish them the best with their effort to turn a profit on it. Being an expert in the rental market as well, this house is in a nice and central location, "fits the mold" of what most renters look for with 3 bedrooms, 2 baths and a pool and will always do well in the rental market for BOTH the Landlord and Tenant, be it weekly or full summer season...
