A native of Northern California, Jim earned his Degree in Economics from Stanford University in 1983. Prior to launching his career in Real Estate, he held the title of Vice President with Wells Fargo Bank and specialized in Import/Export financing.

In 1992 Jim applied his extensive background in business and finance to the Real Estate market with great success. He quickly earned the reputation of a top producing sales agent and was recognized by his former broker for his sales volume, being in the top 4% internationally since 1996, moving to the top 2% from 2000-2006 and in the top 1% in 2005 and 2007. He was number 2 in sales production at Gibson in 2012.

Jim Bremner has resided on the Westside for the past 24 years, in addition to his professional achievements he has raised three children, volunteered his time to many Los Angeles charities and all of his children's schools.

Sold a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $1.575M in Westwood, Los Angeles, CA.

We met Jim for the first time when he represented the seller of the first home we purchased. He was fair and patient during those negotiations, and clearly had mastery over the local Westwood real estate market and knowledge of the neighborhood and its history. Needless to say, Jim made a lasting impression on us.

We turned to Jim when we needed to sell that home. Without a missing a beat, he remembered the home and more importantly, us.

In our situation, timing and market price were critical to us. Within a week of giving Jim the nod to proceed, he had our house on the market, which attracted hundreds of potential buyers. A week after that initial open house, we were in escrow over asking price.

Jim knows the market. He knows how to price homes and provides excellent guidance when negotiating. He works hard, is accessible and continues to assist us even after escrow has closed. To us, that speaks volumes about his character, his commitment to his clients and dedication to the profession. Jim was great for us and we would not hesitate to call on him again.

Sold a home in 2014.

When we first met Jim at a neighborhood open house, we somehow just knew that he would be the right person to help us sell our old house and purchase a new one. Not only is he extremely professional and smart, Jim also happens to be a really nice guy. He is ethical and thorough in all of our dealings with him. It is easy to be a real estate agent, but there are very few in the business who have the depth of knowledge and expertise that Jim possesses. We recommend him highly, and would not think to go to anyone else if future real estate needs arise!  More Less

Bought a Condo home in 2014 for approximately $1.125M in West Los Angeles, Los Angeles, CA.

We were lucky to be referred to Jim when we were looking to buy on the Westside of Los Angeles. Jim understood everything we were looking for and helped us negotiate a very fair price on our top choice for a home. Since we are new to the Los Angeles area and to the home-buying process, we really needed an agent who would take the time to explain the nuances of California real estate, especially regarding all the complex contingencies and disclosures during the escrow process.
