Sold a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $375K in Newport Hills, Bellevue, WA.
We had a catastrophic house fire with my father passing away just a week later. Selling my childhood home after 56 years was extremely emotional and stressful for all involved. After ALL the arrangements that had to be made following our loss, selling the house was probably the easiest task due to Jim's experience and professionalism and we are very grateful. I would recommend Jim to handle ANY transaction.

Working with Jim was an absolute pleasure. He made what could have been an awful ordeal (moving from the Chicago area to the Seattle area with 2 young children and 2 pets in a very short time frame) stress free and fun! And despite the fact that we probably made him take us to more than 50 houses, he remained patient and positive and never made us feel like we were wasting his time. Another thing we loved about Jim was how quickly he was able to get us in to see houses. Plus, he was willing to show us houses in a very large radius, unlike some realtors we spoke to around here who were very "east side" or "west side" biased. Bottom line: Jim is knowledgeable and responsive, and he knows how to get the job done quickly, including during final negotiations/closing. We highly recommend him!

I called Century 21 and was very lucky to have Jim, the branch manager, answer the phone and become my agent on my first home buying experience. Jim was always helpful and I felt like he had my personal best interest in mind. I am positive I came accross like a very ignorant first time home buyer, but I always got the impression Jim had my back instead of trying to rush me into a foolish sale. He stayed late in the office to draft paperwork for me and was very knowledgeable when directing me about housing in the area. He took the time to get a good understanding of what I was looking for and narrowed my search for me. I would definitely recommend Jim to everyone and plan on using his skills and expertise for any future home buying or selling endevours I am brave enough to go through!! I do not have a bad thing to say about him or the buying experience.
Sold a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $600K in North Queen Anne, Seattle, WA.
Jim and his team mate Alex helped us sell our house. He had a professional come out and take photos of the house that would then be uploaded to the websites. They turned out amazing. We got an offer on our house within several days of it going up for sale and their was negotiating with the other clients. We had already moved at that point so Jim did a great job of getting cleaners in the home and facilitating people that needed to come in and paint, change light bulbs etc.
Things I did not like:
We didn't spend anytime going over what the flyer would say, we had many things added onto the house (built in speakers, a fence, new flooring etc). There were initial spelling errors and the sqft of the house did not correspond to what the online websites said.
I am unsure why we had two people helping. Alex and Jim were both great, but I found it confusing at times. I felt like neither one of them talked to each other and were not on the same page on everything at all times. I had to e-mail them several times to get an update on things, to see where we were at. Maybe I'm just high maintenance. We just bought a home in Portland and our realtor here was above and beyond my expectations, so that's probably where it's coming from.
With that being said, they both did a great job and at the end of the day everything was taken care of. I'm not overly impessed but they got the job done.

I have known Jim for 30 years. He has helped my family buy/sell three different houses over the years. He is courteous, professional and knowledgeable. If he doesn't know the answer to your question he will tell you and then go find the answer for you. He responds to your needs quickly and efficiently. His honesty and integrity cannot be questioned. I would recommend him to anyone looking for the best of the best.

Jim Conlan helped us find a condo that needed to meet very specific criteria for location, size, finishes, landscaping, parking and, of course, cost. He was tireless, enthusiastic and knowledgeable in our search. His website helped us tremendously to find properties that were worth seeing, but he never flinched as we looked at and then rejected unit after unit. Ultimately, we found a unit that fit the bill, and then his expertise proved invaluable for the inspection, negotiations, financing and closing. You won't find a friendlier, smarter realtor anywhere.
Sold a Single Family home in 2013 for approximately $250K in Puyallup, WA.
Jim was an outstanding agent to work with. He was courteous, efficient, and always had time when we needed questions asked. He was fantastic with explaining the best way to stage our home for quick sale. In fact, in only 3 days we had an offer that we accepted later that week. Kudos to Jim Conlan and if you are selling your home then he is the best there is.
Bought a Single Family home in 2010 for approximately $350K in Greenwood, Seattle, WA.
We knew that we needed to buy a house when we found out that my wife was pregnant. We really wanted to be in Seattle, near the Greenwood, Broadview, or Phinney Ridge neighborhoods but our options were limited because my wife is a teacher and I was only working part time. On top of that, we had a long list of desires for our home including lots of sun and a mother-in-law type of rental space.
I had been looking on RedFin, but could not find any homes in our price range that met our list of demands. Jim understood our desires and encouraged us to view a number of homes so that we would know the perfect house when the opportunity presented itself.
We put in an offer on a short sale, and Jim was an excellent advocate to have negotiate with the bank. The house met 90% of our wants, and we were very happy. Jim knew that the negotiation with the bank would take several months, and he continued to inform us about properties in the area.
One day Jim called to explain that he found a home that met 100% of our needs, was comparatively priced to the other home, and was located in a more desirable neighborhood. We were one of the first people to view the property and were able to put in an offer before the house had been on the market for 48 hours.
Two years have gone by, and looking back I cannot believe how lucky we were to have an agent like Jim to look out for us! We adore our home and never want to move, but if we do I know for sure who my agent will be.
Mr. Conlan was very professonal from the get go. When we were getting the home ready to sell, his knowledge of what was needed to make the property attractive to buyers was very useful. Mr. Conlan priced our home appropriately which was great because it sold within a reasonable time and we were satisfied with the final offer. The buyers were introduced to the property during one of Mr. Conlan's open houses. Through every step of the process Mr. Conlan was a true professional and when we were unsure of exactly what to do next Mr. Conlan always had options and solutions to ease us through. We will use Mr. Conlan in the future and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a realtor.
Bought a Single Family home in 2011 for approximately $350K in Enumclaw, WA.
I recently purchased a short sale residence in the Enumclaw area that Jim Conlan helped with. Jim was a tremendous asset throughout the sale and I would highly recommend him. He made every effort necessary to convince the seller that we were legitimate buyers, and even helped in convincing them to let me secure the residence so it would be intact when we took possession. I have only a couple of real estate transactions to gauge him with, but he seems to be honest and he clearly worked for us and on our behalf.
