I met Jim when he showed me and my friend a house we were buying together as an investment but it was too expensive for us. Some time later, I decided to buy my very first house and I called Jim. I called him becasue he never tried to convince me about buying the house he showed me the first time I met him. We probably looked at 12 houses or more before I commeted to the home I have now. Jim was always on time, always returned my phone calls, and always had houses ready for me to go and see. He pointed out the good and the bad about the properties and the potential of them if they had any. When I finally found my house, he called me inmediately to check it out. I called my girlfriend and she gave the final ok. Jim had found the house I was looking and a great deal. I wanted a family area, 2 car garage, a fire place, a deck on the back, 2 bathrooms, etc. He knew it was the house I wanted so he told me right there to put a deposit to secure it. He got me a person from the bank to come to my job and explain the details for the loan. His bank agent came 3 times and even showed up for the closing day. Dave was clear and honest right from the start about the rates and payments. At the closing day, it was exactly what he told me the first time. We still keep in touch with Jim and I have recommended him to other friends. They are very pleased with him and one of them had actually bought a house through him. We were interested in looking at new construction in a price range of $400,000 more or less. Jim showed us several possibilities for lots and indicated that we could meet with the builder to discuss the details. Jim obtained the builders specs and went through each item with us. We decided what changes we wanted to the specs and Jim helped us present our choices and our target price to the builder. Jim suggested that our strategy should be direct and firm with the builder. The end result is that Jim helped us to negotiate a very favorable deal that met and exceeded our goals.
