Jim has been a Realtor since 2001, representing both Buyers and Sellers to make their dreams come true. He has a reputation for putting his client's needs first. Taking that extra effort to "Make Their Dreams Come True." Jim represents both Residential and Commercial clients.
Jim became active in the South Orange County communities, and local government shortly after moving to Rancho Santa Margarita in 1986, as one of the original homeowners to this new community.
Jim is recognized for his knowledge of the South Orange County areas, and is clearly the "Expert in Rancho Santa Margarita."
In 1988 Jim became active in local government. Initially, with the Saddleback Area Coordinating Council. This group was recognized by the County of Orange to review development in the greater Saddleback Valley area. In 1989 he founded the RSM Civic Council, to address issues in this rapidly developing community. The vision of this organization was to "Work towards Self-Governance." Jim was active in the RSM Cityhood Committee working towards incorporation of Rancho Santa Margarita.
Rancho Santa Margarita incorporated on January 1, 2000. Jim was elected to the first City Council, serving as Mayor in 2002 and also 2006. Jim was re-elected in November 2006 to his third term on the City Council. Jim retired from the City Council in December 2010.
He now focuses 100% of his time and effort to his Real Estate clients.
Jim also served on the Board of Directors for the Foothill/Eastern Transportation Corridor Agency. The TCA has built 51 miles of Toll Road to serve the transportation needs of the residents of Orange County.
