I did not know JoAnn before I called her up to help my wife and I with the purchase of our new hour home. In fact, I actually called the seller's listing agent first, and never got a response. I then selected JoAnn from her reviews on Zillow. From the moment I met JoAnn, my wife and I were given the royal treatment. JoAnn proved to be extremely knowledgable, incredibly responsive, and definitely knew how to negotiate. I am an attorney by profession and negotiate for a living. I am usually the one to handle the affairs of my clients, so I found myself in the unique position of having someone advocate the best deal on my behalf. As you know, buyer's don't communicate with sellers and/or their agents directly. I was extremely impressed by the way JoAnn took charge and negotiated with the shrewdness and tact of some of the upper echelon lawyers in my profession. I can't tell you how she acts when she represents a seller, but when she represented me as the buyer, she fought like a bear to keep me from paying anymore than I had to for my house. I am happy to say that I paid well below the appraised value of the property when the deal closed thanks to JoAnn's real estate negotiation skills. When the house closed my wife and I were ecstatic except for the fact that we were no longer dealing with JoAnn on a daily basis. During the time period of our sale we were on the phone with her at least 10 to 15 times a day. We saw house after house. She responded immediately to every call. We eventually called JoAnn about a week after we closed and told her how much we missed talking to her on a daily basis.
