Sold a home in 2013.
Joe is well balanced in his ability to provide knowledgeable advice, while also understanding a client's needs. Joe was always readily available, clear communicator, very friendly and approachable. Joe is very sincere and fair. It is a business, but you know that Joe also cares. As time went on, I felt like I was working with a good friend.

Bought a Condo home in 2013 for approximately $300K in Davis, CA.
Joe is most likely the best real estate agent in Davis area. For us he is the best agent we have worked with in a long time.
Working with Joe felt like we had friend doing the job of an agent for us. Joe was responsive, flexible, available, very professional, and constantly looking out for us. We were looking for about 3 months and had seen at least 20-25 properties before settling for one- not once during that time we felt rushed or any signs of Joe being tired of us being picky! Properties we looked at included some of his own listings but he showed equal enthusiasm and professionalism when informing us. I would highly recommend Joe and would certainly go back to him the next time we are in the market for buying and selling!

Very professional and easy to work with. Joe was extremely knowledgable about every step of the process. We have already started telling our friends we know a great agent to work with. Sold a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $650K in Wildhorse, Davis, CA.
Joe had been our agent 8 years ago when we moved from Southern CA to Davis. He did such a great for us then and we wanted to use him again on our last move. He did great. He uses professional people such as a stager and photographer to give us the best looking pictures. We sold the house quick. It took just 10 days from when it went on the market. Thanks Joe. We first found Joe Kaplan through his website, which was extremely informative and personalized, revealing his knowledge and love of the Davis area. We were completely new to Davis, and needed a realtor with local experience, intelligence, professionalism and an upbeat demeanor, and we found that in Joe. He listened to our needs, let us go at our own speed, and we found a great house after only a few excursions. Our escrow had a few hiccups that Joe remedied with great calm and negotiation. We relied on Joe from start to finish, and through the whole process he was a skilled professional, informative and courteous. I highly recommend Joe Kaplan !!!!

I have bought and sold real estate over 25 years. These last few years have been more difficult then previous years. as a result I needed the very best to sell property at a reasonable price, dealing with buyers issues, City of Davis issues and a market that is difficult on its own. Sold a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $175K in Woodland, CA.
Joe posted the listing for my home in Woodland on MLS on a Monday in September, 2012. By mid Tuesday, we had five offers and signed paperwork for the sale that Tuesday evening. The sale closed on October 24th. The photos for both the brochure and the on-line "tour" were beautiful. Joe obviously chooses competent professionals with whom to work, in this case a photographer who spent a lot of time at my home getting just the right photos. Joe has an easygoing manner and is easy and comfortable to talk with. He listened to my concerns and did everything he said he would do and ALWAYS when he said he'd do it. He kept me informed about the process as we went along and carefully reviewed each of our offers and the inevitable little difficulties involved in selling a home. I had considered selling my home myself as I have several times in the past, but I was so impressed with Joe's responsiveness and professionalism, I'm glad I didn't even try. I would highly recommend Joe's services to anyone, with no qualifications. Thank you, Joe.

Joe listened to what I needed and initially showed me properties that met my description. After that, he suggested that I take a wider look, for my own comparison. This was very helpful in making a decision to buy a house I had seen on my first day out. Joe was also was instrumental in assisting me in financing the house, as I was also selling another home at the same time. I appreciated Joe's direct informational yet friendly manner, as well as his expertise in the housing market in my area.
