John is unique in that he has expertise in a number of areas including being a former regional manager for a nationwide real estate investment and development concern where he concentrated on maritime development and operations (marinas, hotels, and condominiums). His duties included property acquisition and entitlement/development management, in the process making him a waterfront (riparian/littoral) expert. John attended the University of Central Oklahoma (Computer Science) and after a 14-year consulting career in the high-tech industry of Information Technology, including a multi-year stint working for NASA on the Space Shuttle program. He is a past president of the Central Florida chapter of the Quality Assurance Institute and is currently chairman of the quasi-judicial Board of Adjustment for the City of Cape Canaveral. His hobbies are antique cars (he has several), basketball, golf, and, of course, boating.
