After graduating from the University of Maryland, John entered the highly competitive and complex mortgage industry. John became a top producer almost immediately, winning several industry and company awards with Maryland National Bank, First Horizon Home Loans and SunTrust Bank.
The next step in John's career was to start his own mortgage company, which he owned and managed for six years. Upon becoming a Real Estate Agent, John fully understood the backbone of any real estate transaction is financing. Now, as one of the areas top producing real estate agents, John is able to apply his intimate knowledge of the mortgage industry towards purchasing or selling a home.
John has the knowledge to take a complex process and break it down into simple terms his clients understand. With in-depth knowledge of the appraisal valuation process, John has superior negotiating skills making sure his clients do not pay too much or sell for too little. John has experience in every type of real estate transaction from buying your first home using State and County bond programs, selling your home and buying your next house, purchasing a new home from a builder, to purchasing an investment property.

When John is not helping a client buy or sell real estate, he enjoys stalking trout with a fly rod in the mountains of Colorado. He also enjoys spending time training with his German Shepherd Roscoe.
