Bought a Single Family home in 2012 in Ogilvie, MN.

Summary:

From the time we connected with John, he was very friendly and accomodating. He showed great enthusiasm along with us, and made sure we had all the information we needed to make a sound purchase. When we were looking at the property and trying to figure out the boundaries, John used his iPad to pull up information from the internet and obtain from info the other realtor who sent it to him at that moment. Not only was this information very timely, and helped us find the approximate corners, but showed that he is current with technology and has many tools available at his fingertips. We then drove back and forth down the roads watching the odometer to zero in - Hi Tech and Low Tech working together! Submitting the offer was painless. John walked us through it effortlessly, and was very encouraging as we made our initial offer and then a follow up bid. He shared in our excitement when our bid was accepted. Then when we hit several snags in financing, and had to move the closing date, he patiently and calmly worked with us to make sure the deal did not fall apart on his end.

I would strongly recommend John Squier for anyone to work with when looking for and buying property. He's a real professional, and has a friendly, relaxing way about him that makes you feel like he's been one of your friends since childhood. John, thanks again for everything!…More Less

Bought a Single Family home in 2011 for approximately $125k in Big Lake, MN.

Summary:

John helped me to purchase my first house in Big Lake, MN. I found him using this site and was impressed by all of the high ratings as well as the fact that he took the time to respond to each of them. I contacted several Realtors and John was the only one to call me back the very same day. Several others on this site didn't even bother to call back. When we started looking at houses he quickly picked up on the things my girlfriend and I were looking for and adapted his search to meet those needs. We were fairly picky about the area we wanted to live in since my job is in Brooklyn Park and my girlfriend's is in Delano. I was impressed with his knowledge and patience while helping me through the process. He was there every step of the way and took the time to explain everything and answer any questions I had. I am glad that I chose to work with John and at no time during the process did he give me cause to regret that decision. John was quick to return my calls, and emails, and I was pleasantly surprised that he texted as well, since I'm not able to make or receive personal calls at my job. John negotiated a great price and I was just as excited I was when we closed. He takes the time to get to know you and sincerely cares about getting you the home you want at the best price. John really went above and beyond and I am pleased to call John a friend.

P.S. We took his recommendation on a home inspector and were blown away with how thorough he was. Our house had only cosmetic issues but he found dozens of things that I probably wouldn't have found for years.…More Less
