We located John through Zillow and due to his -great- reviews we decided to reach out to him. At the same time, we contacted (3) other mortgage brokers and agents around the area. John was by far the most professional, most on-top-of-his game with quick responses, most knowledgeable - providing detailed responses to our many questions about how the market, points, etc worked. He was helpful, straight-forward and he felt 'honest' in comparison to other people we had reached out to. With something as important as your home, it's hard to know who to trust when you don't re-finance or purchase a new home every day. Closed refinance loan.
John has done 3 refi's for me. He saved me lots of time and grief compared to the direct refi I had done with my bank before (and was trying to do when I found him and aborted the bank). His advice on when to lock in, how to prepare for the appraisals, etc., has been spot-on.
