I began my interest in Real Estate when I advised my Mom to rent out her home, rather than selling it in a down market. Holding on to it for a few more years, enabled her to sell it for 3 times more. I was introduced to Real Estate again when I was working with an Agent in 1998 to buy my first home. After running my agent around for 6 months, he decided to teach me Real Estate and hire me as his assistant to find my own home. I wanted to learn more, I wanted to see all of my options before I made the decision. I settled on my first home in 1999 and it was the best investment I made.
In 2003, I went to work for Van Metre Homes, a prestigious and well known builder in our area. By 2004, I was ready to help Buyers, Sellers, Investors and Renters make the right decisions by providing them with a wealth of information and support. I wanted to provide them service and trust. I wanted to help everyone. I became a licensed Realtor® in 2004, helping friends and family to invest in Real Estate.
As a Realtor®, I am focused on continuing my real estate education and going beyond the requirements set by Virginia & DC.
