Hello,Yes there is plenty of room for a detached garage in the rear. The kitchen is funtional with newer appliances, The cabinets are older than the appliances or tile. There is some noise from the interstate toward the front of the house at the rear the rear is not as noticable and not at all inside. I hope that helps.
