I moved from Massachusetts to the Daytona Beach area at the beginning of 2003. I remain an avid New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox fan, even though I now have Jacksonville Jaguars season tickets.



I did my undergraduate studies at Ithaca College in New York and my graduate work at The University of Massachusetts in Boston. While in Massachusetts, I owned and operated New England's largest mediation and arbitration company, settling lawsuits out of court. The negotiation and sales experience that I received in third party dispute resolution has led to an easy transition into a career in Real Estate.

Here in Daytona Beach, I am a full-time Realtor with RE/MAX Property Centre and I am very active with the American Cancer Society. Bought a Apartment home in 2011 in South Daytona, FL.

The Florida real estate market looked like a jungle from the outside but despite the risks, my wife and I decided that the potential for profit in the Florida “down market” was too good to pass up. We’ve had experience with rental properties and had a pretty good idea of what the kind of property we wanted to buy but we didn’t have a real estate agent. Fortunately, my wife found Kandi Schromm in Daytona Beach through Trulia.com. My wife had posted a question about investment real estate in the Daytona area and, of the five agents who responded, Kandi’s response made the most sense. My wife’s instincts were right on. Despite the staggering array of properties available at low prices, Kandi was able to find a property that met our budget and other, specific criteria. We made an offer and Kandi presented it in a way that encouraged the seller to accept. The settlement was complicated by the inspection, home warrantee work, and insurance requirements. Kandi stayed with us all the way and oversaw the work and even pitched in on some repair herself. After the sale, we signed Kandi up as property manager. She put the place in rent-able condition, found a good tenant and continues to keep the tenant happy.  More Less

Bought a Single Family home in 2010 for approximately $200K in Port Orange, FL.

I bought a house in the summer 2010 and converted my previous house to a rental property. Through Kandi's guidance the process went smoothly. She is very knowledgeable about all aspects of the real estate market, and kept me on task for a timely closing. Through her rental property company, Kandi was able to place an excellent tennant in the rental in a short period of time.
