Sold a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $250K in Santa Clara, Eugene, OR.

I attended one of their seminars "On How To Sell Your Home." After the seminar that evening I knew I was going to list my house with them in the spring. My home sold very quickly for the dollar amount I wanted. There expertise across the board in every category was excellent.

I highly recommend the Karandy & Dunn team if you are thinking about selling your home. You won't be disappointed.

Bought a home in 2014.

We had a rough experience with another agency so we decided to try someone new. Ericka was able to meet with us on a Sunday, which was perfect for our family. We viewed two homes after we met that day and the first one was OUR HOME! After a long search, this was VERY exciting. It was on the market for 30 days before we ever saw it, so that tells you how (not) on top of things the previous agency was with our needs/wants. We made an offer the next day and the whole negotiating process went very smooth. Ericka was available whenever we had questions and always very friendly and sweet. We were able to close by our estimated time. Overall, we are more than satisfied with our experience with the Karandy & Dunn Team. We would definitely refer them to any family or friends looking for a new home. THANK YOU ERICKA!

Sold a Mobile / Manufactured home in 2014 for approximately $100K in Springfield, OR.

Very nice people to work with. They are very patient and professional and respectful of my crazy work schedule. They offered us some helpful suggestions to sell the house (staging, changing light switches, painting doors) and I believe those things were helpful. The house sold FAST! Justin is also a great realtor and helped us find our new home in record time (I think it was about two weeks). He is awesome and even offered to help us move our big couch to the new house (although he might not want that on the internet..... LOL). My brother and my two nieces have used this same team and we are all happier than bugs in a rug! :) Seriously great people at Karandy & Dunn!

The client/escrow had problems and made it a challenging time for my team member. Jennifer did a great job of keeping everyone on task. Sometimes a stress for her and us. All finally got completed. Job done. Thanks Jennifer.

Bought a home in 2013.

The calm non pushy manner and the time given to us was remarkable. We were working with the agent from a distance with our son in the area which could have been very difficult but the communication was made very easy and his objectivity and advice made us comfortable. The one thing that was difficult was using the system they had for signing documents from a distance.

I interviewed several agents, including The Karandy & Dunn Team to list my property. It was obvious from the very beginning that Karandy & Dunn's main interest was the commission they were going to make from the sale of my home, not my feelings. They were very uncaring and callous -- unwilling to listen to any input we had about price, etc. unless we completed agreed with what they said. Their know-it-all attitude completely put us off and we would never recommend them to anyone to list their home. We went with another agent that did a wonderful job and truly cared about us and our feelings.

Sold a Single Family home in 2013 for approximately $350K in Creswell, OR.

We chose to work with Kathryn Dunn when selling our home after attending one of the group's home selling seminars and hearing from her that The Karandy & Dunn realty group was rated very highly in Lane County. Unfortunately, we were consistently disappointed and frustrated with Kathryn's service throughout the entire process of selling our home. She arrived at our first meeting unprepared, having not reviewed the printouts of the comp-homes her assistant had printed out and having no idea what she'd recommend for a listing price. Kathryn's minimal communication with us throughout the sales process was often unfriendly, short and condescending. Although she knew that we were first-time home sellers, Kathryn failed to suggest we call her if questions arose during our selling process. When we requested she follow-up after a house showing by calling the other realtor in addition to the computer generated, automated feedback form she sends to showing agents, we were made to feel each time as though our request was unreasonable.

During the negotiating process with our buyers, Kathryn refrained from giving us any advantageous advise at all, even though we asked for and needed her professional help. Her lack of attention to detail when reviewing our buyer's offer nearly cost us thousands of dollars. In fact, the one piece of advice during our selling process that she did provide, in the end, cost us thousands of dollars on the sale of our home.

Once we had accepted an offer on our home we dealt nearly exclusively with an assistant of Kathryn's, who was fantastic and gave very professional and responsive service. We only heard from Kathryn if we contacted her. When I asked her whom she would use to do our inspections, she instructed me to set them up myself, referring me to the group's website for suggested inspection companies. When I asked another realtor for inspection company recommendations, that realtor said it was typical practice in their industry for a listing agent to set up the inspections for their clients, and that Kathryn telling me to set up my own inspections was "an embarrassment to my [the realty] profession".

We have worked with a handful of realtors in other home buying transactions, my family members have bought & sold over a dozen homes, and we/none of them have ever had such a poor experience as we did when working with Kathryn. We recently purchased a home using a realtor outside of Keller Williams and could not have been happier with the service we received. We do not recommend Kathryn's services to anyone in search of a realtor.
