I'm thrilled and honored to recommend Karen Bigos and her team at Towne Realty Group. We contacted Karen + Dan, after an undesirable experience in attempting to sell our mother's home in Millburn with a well-known realtor from another well-known company. I watched Towne sell home after home in our neighborhood and wished we had listed with them.
Even with the stigma of the home sitting unsold for 6 months prior, Karen took the challenge of selling our home. She took an aggressive approach, used her knowledge in staging skills and expertly marketed our home way beyond our expectations. Her caring and compassioin towards our family during that emotional time will never be forgotten. Her entire staff is professional and there was never a time we felt like "just another client". We are very impressed with their broad real estate network. It is solely due to their broad network that gave us competitive advantages in purchasing our two Short Hills homes – One home was a multiple bid situation and the other was an exclusive private sale. Further, it is because of their deep local market knowledge and extensive marketing effort that the house we sold went under contract in about week. Their pricing advice really paid off, as we ended up receiving multiple bids.
In each transaction, we appreciated their responsiveness. They were always accessible. Given my husband’s late work hours, we were grateful that they scheduled their time around his schedule. Even on the weekend and during the holidays, they were always available and reachable.
For us, they were not only hardworking and tenacious, but also creative and flexible. We will not forget their “roll the sleeves up” approach as evidenced by Karen removing spider webs on our front, outside bushes when she was preparing our house for listing. Further, since we were dealing with strong personalities, we appreciated their creative solutions making us feel good about completing our transaction. Since real estate is a highly people-intensive field, we were very impressed with their flexibility in masterfully handling all the different parties (e.g., buyers, sellers, agents, lawyers and inspectors) to get the transactions completed.
Most importantly, they have proven to us that they are one of the smartest and most experienced teams in real estate locally. They guided us through the complexities of each transaction while looking out for our interest. Indeed, we relied upon their expertise on several important matters and we were consistently happy with their advice and the outcome.
