Sold a home in 2012.
My home, listed with a large agency, had been on the market for over 6 months and I was getting nervous. I moved my listing to Karin and had a contract within a month. Karin uses some creative marketing techniques and seemed to be able to reach some potential buyers the other agency was missing. I would certainly recommend her to anyone in the area.

Sold a Single Family home in 2012 in Slidell, LA.
We have recently relocated to the area, and were unsure of local market values, areas, and real estate law. I have worked with real estate professionals in several states, and numerous transactions in the past. Karen has provided excellent representation in selling one of our homes and the purchase of the other. I rate her as very knowledgeable and skilled in the real estate market. I would highly recommend her as an agent.

Karin truly did a masterful job with selling my property. She really does her homework and thoroughly knows this real estate market. Her market analysis for my home was exactly on the mark. She told me what I could expect in terms of sales price, expected concessions, and estimated time for an acceptable contract. She was on the mark for eveything. Karin handled anything that needed to be done quickly and with great expertise. While other properties in the neighborhood sat on the market, my house was under contract quickly and at full asking price! Karin kept me abreast of all the showings and any feedback received. Despite some delays due to the purchaser's financing, Karin was always on top of the situation and advising me throughout the process. The sales process was as smooth (despite the delay) as I could has possibly hoped. I couldn't have asked for better agent. In my opinion, she is the go-to agent in Slidell!

Sold a home in 2011.
I must give Karen 5 stars across the board. I am sure you are thinking no one is perfect in every aspect of their job. Well Karen is as close as you can get. Karen sold our home within 2 hours of the listing. When I first spoke to Karen, i was very impressed. She went into great detail regarding the market and competition. Karen of Smith Realty advised us of a fair listing price that would move the property quickly. Karen knew exactly how many homes in the area were on the market, how long they had been on the market and knew our closest competition. Karen was familiar with all the area properties because she had shown each and every one of the houses. Karen obviously does her homework. She had her plan of which houses to show her clients before they ever stepped off the plane. She negotiated the deal and got us exactly what we wanted. Karen took all the work and worry out of selling a house. She was extremely professional as she handled all procedures, paperwork and details with such ease. Karen is a true professional and is a "Top Dog" in her field. I admire her expertise and success. So if you ask me was I happy with Karen Smith of Smith Realty Group, indeed I am. She sold our house in two hours, got us top dollar, and I didn't have to do a thing. Wouldn't you be? Thank You Karen.

Bought a home in 2011.
Karin is amazin. She was very helpful and knowledgeable on all aspects of house buying. I was a first time home buyer and she was very patient and compassionate. I would highly recommend her.

My wife and I actually interviewed several realtors in the St Tammany area, one who (as it turned out) was the top realtor in the parish. We ended up going with Karin because she seemed not only the most professional and knowledgeable, but fit best for us in terms of her responsiveness and pragmatism. We were right to choose her. As we waited for the optimum listing time for us personally, she brought a perfect prospective buyer to us who ended up making us a great offer that we accepted. We literally only had to temporarily list the home in order to sell it. The market may not have made our home a spectacular investment for us, but the impact was absolutely minimized by our choice in Karin. It was hands down our best experience selling a home in recent years, and we can't recommend her enough - in fact I've already been handing out her card!

Karin was more than an agent, she went out of her way to assist us with our VA loan. Always available when ever we had questions. Met with us on our time. Karin made our purchase of our home very enjoyable. We couldn't of ask for a better agent.

Made our first time buying a home easy! Very patient and thorough. Treated my husband and myself like family, as well as taking care of us like family. She worked around our schedule and kept us very informed. I would recommend her in a heartbeat! Fabulous person as well as agent.

Found a tenant for a Single Family home in Slidell, LA.
First time ever leasing a property. I was unsure of the process or even how to go about starting. Lucky for me Karin not only showed me where to get started but she also took the lead on locating me a qualified renter. She single handedly advertised my property, pictures and all, usisng every advertising vehicle available to her. More importantly she handled to entire screening process, contracting process and final signature process. Because of her sefless commitment to meeting my needs we have the most qualified renter and we are getting paid even more than we thought possible for our property. Karin has my fullest recommendation to be used as your agent, she is the only agent I will ever use for any of my real estate needs. Thanks for a great job Karin!!!!!
