Bought a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $975K in Keswick, VA.
Karyn is awesome! She was so insightful and fun to work with. She was very patient with us - working for months to help us find the right house. She was super knowledgeable on the entire C'ville area and knew when to give us our 'space' to refine our preferences and knew when to direct and encourage us along. Karyn was outstanding helping with all the details involved in negotiating and closing remotely. We've never had a closing go so smoothly. I strongly recommend her.

Sold a Single Family home in 2011 in Palmyra, VA.
Selling a home in today's real estate market can be a challenge. To be successful, you need a real estate agent who knows the market, knows the area, embraces technology, and is willing to give you 100% effort. No one matches this description better than Karyn.
We interviewed a number of real estate agents before choosing to sell our home with Karyn. Her enthusiasm, knowledge, friendliness, and track record convinced us that she was the right choice, and after going through the process, I can't imagine working with anyone else.
A few highlights: -Karyn responded to my inquiry and had a full pricing report prepared for me within a very short time of my initial contact -Karyn was at my house to do a walk through within 24 hours of speaking with her -Karyn was willing and excited to help us make our house more marketable -Karyn held multiple open houses to advertise our house -Karyn found us both traditional and non-traditional buyers, and maximized our exposure -Karyn walked through a complicated contract and made every step extremely easy
As I said before, to sell a house in today's market you need the complete package. Even then, it sometimes takes that little extra push to sell a house. Karyn was the complete package and provided that extra little push. She will do whatever it takes to sell your house and make sure your stress level is as low as possible. I can't recommend her enough!

Found a tenant for a Single Family home in Charlottesville, VA.
Karyn acts as our property manager. We have been impressed with her professionalism from day one. She has lead us through this process and continues to impress us with every situation that presents itself. We live quite some distance from our Charlottesville home but never worry about things being taken care of in a timely, appropriate way. She has always immediately answered any questions we might have. This home is where we raised our family and we had concerns that we would not be able to feel comfortable with someone else living in our home. Because of Karyn we rest well and just wait for the monthly check to arrive. We feel blessed to have Karyn acting as our representative and have nothing but glowing recommendations of her.

Showed home in 2011 in Charlottesville, VA.
Karyn answered my emails promptly and arranged for me to view some property with little notice as I flew in to Charlottesville for a weekend. She listened to what I was interested in and found properties that met that criteria. I did not feel any pressure and felt that she gave me very accurate information. I am hoping to purchase some property in Charlottesville and I really feel that I can trust Karyn to help with that since I am not in the area.

Sold a Single Family home in 2010 for approximately $325K in Charlottesville, VA.
If Ms. Trumbull can't sell your home, it can't be sold! As a 28-year military family, we have bought and sold six times with different agents in very different markets and locations, and Karyn stands head and shoulders above those who have assisted us in the past. She is exceedingly personable, responsive, energetic, and, above all, she knows the Albemarle County market inside and out. Indeed, we interviewed other agents from reputable companies before agreeing on a listing, and Karyn was the clear winner. Suffice to say, her performance far exceeded our expectations, and, as a result, we were extremely pleased with our choice of agents. Across the board--from advice on listing price, advertising, holding open houses, dealing with inspectors, and conducting sensitive negotiations with potential buyers, Karyn was golden. Frankly, it's hard to imagine how the overall transaction could have gone more smoothly and been more user-friendly. Buying or selling a home can be an extremely stressful and daunting experience. Trust Karyn to take the edge off the process, and you'll undoubtedly be glad you did!

Bought a home in 2010.
Mrs. Trumbull takes real estate service to a whole new, higher level of professionalism! She is clearly the most articulate, intelligent, energetic, and charming agent we've ever had the pleasure to work with. And she turns those outstanding characteristics into big advantages for her clients. For example, Mrs. Trumbull was very astute about quickly determining exactly what key features were really most important to us, and then using that insight to focus on finding and showing only the homes of greatest interest. That makes a huge difference in an unfamiliar area and market when time is critical. Mrs. Trumbull knows what she's looking at with houses. She spotted and brought to our attention relevant, often subtle, features of homes and neighborhoods, both good and bad, that would have escaped our notice. That's very helpful when you're just feeling a bit lost and overwhelmed in a new environment. One of the most impressive aspects of Mrs. Trumbull's performance was the way she pursued finding answers to questions we asked, whether large or small. She never just stopped with "I don't know"; she found out for us. We've moved a few more times than most families over the years -- I can say without reservation or qualification that Mrs. Trumbull is far and away the best real estate agent, a true real estate professional, we've every had the pleasure to work with.

Bought a Single Family home in 2010 for approximately $225K in Charlottesville, VA.
My first time buying a home. Karyn was great in explaining the process to me, listening to what I wanted/needed, and helping me find the perfect fit. She likes her work and is incredibly easy to get along with. I especially appreciated her willingness to walk me through the parts of the process I didn't understand. I trusted her to be in my corner as negotiations went along. She doesn't hesitate to put in the extra time and effort to get the job done.
I have several friends who also worked with Karyn - all based on recommendations- and have had excellent experiences.
