My wife and I have had a great experience with Kate since before we moved into the Pasadena area.

Prior to our move, we would visit the area and Kate would show us around knowing that no purchase would be happening soon.

After the big move and looking for a few months, she helped us find a great Spanish bungalow in our target neighborhood.

I highly recommend Kate!
Sold a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $675K in Altadena, CA.
Kate is an amazing agent and my husband and I are lucky to call her a friend. We met at one of her open houses and instantly made a connection. It took about a year for us to decide to take the plunge and start really shopping for a house, and Kate was ready and willing to help. We got into contract on the first multiple-bid situation we entered but, unfortunately, it fell through. This was in spite of Kate's tireless eleventh hour efforts to make it work.
Within a relatively short period of time, Kate found us another home in a better neighborhood and more suited to our tastes. Our offer was accepted in another multi-bid situation and this time it all worked out.
While we planned to spend many years in our little dream house, plans changed. Because of an out of state opportunity we could not pass up, we decided to sell the house. Of course we went back to our trusted agent, Kate.
Always up for a challenge, Kate helped us put the house back on the market at the price we wanted. After some ups and downs (and open houses EVERY weekend), we found a wonderful buyer and the deal was done.
We cannot say enough great things about Kate. She always answers her phone, is incredibly knowledgeable, is an attentive listener, has good advice, and is just a genuinely great person. We would recommend her to family and friends and strangers on the street. If you want to buy or sell a house in the greater East Los Angeles area (or anywhere she has a license for that matter), Kate is the agent you should choose.
Bought a Condo home in 2013 in Sherman Oaks, Sherman Oaks, CA.
I can not speak high enough about Kate, her professionalism, her focus, and her diligent work ethic. When we began our journey to find me my first home, Kate was empathetic and kept reminding me that in the world of real estate "everything happens for a reason." Kate, my mother, and I worked closely together for about 3 months and it was painless, excited, and fun! We looked at just a few potential homes but found the perfect one for me and Kate, along with my awesome mortgage rep. Traci Ruelas, worked quickly to make it happen. Kate understands that buying a home, especially your first home, is a scary, ridiculous process but she reminds you to have fun and enjoy every step because its your future. I love that Kate, wonderful Kate, helped shape this part of my future. I'll miss working with her.
Bought a Single Family home in 2013 for approximately $25K in South Arroyo, Pasadena, CA.
Absolutely professional! Kate knows the extended Pasadena area like the back of her hand. We were looking at a house that didn't suit our needs, but it was in a great neighborhood. Kate suggested another home that had just come on the market, and that's the one we bought. If we ever need another home, Kate gets the call!
Bought a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $650K in Altadena, CA.
Purchased a Single Family Residence for under $700k in Atladena, CA. With the help of Katie and lender Traci Ruelas "The Dynamic Duo", both of which were prompt, professional, knowledgeable and made our priorities their own, we were able to get the home at substantially below market price.
Bought a Single Family home in 2010 for approximately $475K in Duarte, CA.
Some of the most important qualities to look for in a real estate agent is vast experience, excellent work ethics and dedication. Kate had all of these traits and more. It took me over year to find the perfect home because I am a very particular person. Throughout the process, I found Kate to be both knowledgeable, trustworthy and the ultimate professional. She was patient and kind, and when I finally found the perfect home, she made sure that the inspection and negotiation went as smoothly as possible. Kate has my wholehearted recommendation to anyone looking to buy or sell their home.
Bought a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $400K in Altadena, CA.
I am far from an experienced home buyer, but I certainly took my time and shopped for a Realtor. My experiences have been widely varied, but I have found some realtors less than ethical, pushing me to close quickly, kept info from me that may have delayed closing or changed my mind and were impossible to contact. I was, however, in for quite a shock. Working with Kate was an absolute pleasure. After assesing what I wanted she slowed me down. When I started panicking and looking at any property in my area of choice, even if it met none of my criteria she helped keep me on track.
Kate worked hard to overcome several hurdles during the closing process and constantly kept me updated and held my hand during the daunting escrow process. I could not be any happier with the work Kate put intomy firsthome buying experience. She made the process smooth and painless!!! I was buying a house in the Pasadena/ Altadena area while presently living in the San Fernando Valley and Kate did an awesome job at handling the Impromptu appointments.
When I had questions, Kate answered them quickly and honestly. When I had problems with my fincancing company, she had a course of action. When I needed someone to make last minuet changes that seemed to be derailing my purchase, Kate (being quick on her toes) wasn't afraid to get her hands dirty. When I emailed a question at midnight, or needed to talk to her at 7 am, she would be there (I say this, not to start a trend, I'd feel bad if I started something.) Not to mention that Kate is very personable so she gets along well with everyone: sellers’ realtors, mortgage people, inspectors, everyone. She stayed on top of decision time-frames but was still able to get info for me about what I might expect. She also is very connected. She knows and has worked with many other realtors. Even when playing hardball for me, she was never harsh or rude the way other realtors were with her. Kate never lost her cool, she was a shoulder to cry on when a deal fell through five weeks (Long story) into escrow, she was always reassuring and positive.
Bought a home in 2011 in Kaiser, Fontana, CA 92335.
Katie really worked hard for us in obtaining the best purchase price and getting items in the home repaired that needed attention prior to the sale completion. She was knowledgable on the documentation requirements and provided much local information on rentals as we were purchasing the condo as a rental property at the time. All in all, very satisfied in the way she represented our interests and requirements.
Bought a Condo home in 2012 for approximately $300K in South, Pasadena, CA.
We were considering a brand new unit, which was a little out of price range and she did an amazing job negotiating it down by working with the seller to keep his high price listed, but getting us every possible price bonus, including years of free HOA, etc, to bring the unit into our price range.
Then another 2005 unit popped up the day we were about to close negotiations on the new unit. Kate got us into view the unit first, we loved it, we cancelled our new unit deal, jumped on the 2005 unit, and saved over $100,000. Then the 2005 unit appraised low, and Kate worked everything out with our lender and the other RE agent to make the deal happen.
She's great and her lender Traci Rueles is the best I ever dealt with. They're an awesome team.
