Bought a home in 2009.
From the time we started looking at properties ,until the closing date on our new home, Kathy was with us every step of the way. Since we lived 300 miles away and hadn't purchased a home in over 30 years, the process was certainly overwhelming .Kathy had recommendations on everything that we needed to do- from applying for a mortgage, to home inspection, to acquiring home insurance. We had endless questions, but Kathy was patient and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend her to anyone that is buying or selling a property.

Bought a Single Family home in 2011 in Cape Charles, VA.
We spent over a year looking for a second home in Cape Charles, not finding anything that met our needs and price range. We were introduced to Kathy by a friend, who said she was the best agent in the region, and we’ve found that to be true. As a true buyer’s agent, Kathy first spent a lot of time showing us a range of properties, making sure she understood what our needs really were; and over a period of months, she narrowed the search, always prepared when we had time to look, and never showing any frustration with the time and effort it was taking to find just the right property. When the home we bought came on the market, Kathy had us looking at it the day it was listed; and we made an offer that was accepted within the first week. Then Kathy shepherded us through the very frustrating short-sale process, helping us understand that it could (and did) take several months before the bank would agree to close. Throughout the process, Kathy’s knowledge and contacts smoothed the way, from lenders and insurance brokers to closing agents. Kathy is an exceptional talent, and we would highly recommend her for any real estate transaction (buying, selling, renting) on the Eastern Shore. Nancy & Jack Silvey

Found a tenant for a Condo home in Cape Charles, VA.
We have used Kathy for several real estate transactions and every time she has gone above and beyond our expectations. Due to her excellent reputation and contacts in the local community she was able to access a number of services for us following through on every detail. Most recently she helped us rent a property and we had tenants within two weeks! We felt like we were her only clients. We would highly recommend Kathy as an agent!

Found a tenant for a home.
Kathy was recommended to us when we were looking for an agent to advertise our cottage for rent. She was very helpful, making recommendations and suggestions.
She very professionally handled all of the negotiations.
She also was instrumental in our purchasing of a small cottage in Capeville.

Bought a home in 2009.
We were looking for property on the Eastern Shore and in the Cape Charles area. We were referred to Kathy by a friend and began working with her. She proved to be very knowledgeable and helpful regarding our search. After many months of exhausting hunting, she found what we were looking for. She has a low key approach and never tried to just "sell" us property. She certainly had our interests at heart. Our experience working with her was very positive and rewarding. I would gladly refer anyone who would be interested in buying or renting property on the shore to Kathy.

I was lucky enough to have a friend recommend Kathy to me when I was looking for a home in the Cape Charles area. As an Illinois resident, I had no idea what was available in my price range. Kathy took me around to see several homes on more than one occasion.
I was drawn to Kathy's pleasant personality and knowledge of the locale. She drove us to the beach one day just so I could walk in the sand barefoot and soak in all of the beauty. She took her time with me and answered all of my questions.
I haven't been able to relocate as of yet, but when I'm able, I will be on the phone to Kathy Weiner.

Listed, but didn't sell my Single Family home in 2011 in Cape Charles, VA.
Kathy came to our first meeting highly prepared and professional and continued to be responsive and knowledgeable throughout our interaction. She handled many issues that I coudn't due to distance; was very responsive in our communication and went above and beyond the call of duty in beautifying the home, as well as in other ways. She is a highly respected member of the local community and very hard-working and ethical, as well as being a warm and caring person. I would particularly recommend her to anyone new to this area as a trustworthy source of expertise.
