Sold a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $575K in South Park, San Diego, CA.
Katy Kingery "exceeded expectations" insofar as I was surprised to have found someone who could demonstrate such passion, integrity, and business savvy to get the job done on my behalf. She has both sold and bought a property for me, and in both situations she was courteous and efficient, hard-working and an absolute pleasure to work with. She possesses the intangibles that helped me attain the best possible outcome both monetarily and in terms of personal satisfaction.
Katy Kingery is a class act. Katy represented me in the sale of my condo, which I had rented out after moving back to the East Coast two years ago. I thought it would be difficult and stressful to sell from the opposite coast, but Katy took care of everything and had my property listed, under contract, and sold in a total of only ~33 days. This despite the fact that I had a tenant in the unit who worked nights and slept days, which made scheduling showings a challenge. From listing to close, Katy was knowledgeable, professional, attentive, and effective. She is also a genuinely nice person who you will enjoy working with. I can't recommend her highly enough. Thanks Katy!!!

Bought a Condo home in 2012 for approximately $325K in Vista, CA.
Katy worked tirelessly in finding and showing us homes in all areas of San Diego, to and including price ranges. She walked us through all aspects from the date a purchase offer was made to closing, including working with our Lender and Escrow Agent. She also continued to answer questions and obtain information for us even after closing occurred. My son used Katy when he purchased his Condo numerous years back and she came highly recommended by him and I will recommend her services to someone else. She does a terrific job and stays on top of everything.
Bought a Condo home in 2013 for approximately $500K in Park West, San Diego, CA.
Katy first took us on a tour of condos when we visited San Diego briefly in January. Then while we were living in Virginia for the next 4 months, she kept us on the email list for condos in San Diego. From the first day we arrived back in San Diego, June 5, she has stayed in close contact, - taking us on condo tours regularly, encouraging us to look at a variety of places for perspective, shepherding us through our first offer, supporting us when we decided to withdraw the offer, and staying in daily contact as we went through a very long loan application process for our 2nd offer. We have always felt that Katy represented us well and with great sensitivity as she dealt with the other realtor and mortgage people.
Buying a new home can be a very emotional experience (and ours was no exception.) We always knew that Katy was there for us, both as a professional realtor and a friend. We would not hesitate to recommend Katy Kingery.
Sold a Single Family home in 2011 for approximately $375K in San Marcos, CA.
Katy is a wonderful person to work with. Very honest, thorough and respectful. Real estate is a hard industry and emotions rise, but Katy always showed her professionalism and carried the transaction forward smoothly and honestly. Remember, set realistic expectations when selling or buying and you will be pleased with Katy's performance. No one can make your house sell or help you buy for an unrealistic price.
Bought a Condo home in 2012 for approximately $400K in Hillcrest, San Diego, CA.
Katy was the only realtor I dealt with because it was obvious from the start that she was highly professional and capable as well as being responsive to the needs of the client. I eventually bought a place after about four months looking and throughout this time she always made herself available for consultation and for viewing properties. Her knowledge of the procedure was particularly useful as there is currently far too much process involved in getting a loan and buying a place.
Katy was an enourmous resource and helped take much of the stress out of buying a new home

There's no wonder why we call her Kate the Great! She made selling our house a wonderful process and was on top of things the other agent let slide: even waiting for SDG&E for 3 hours on a service call because we had already moved. She is direct and honest which appealed to my husband and I feel like I've made a new friend for life.
I met Katy randomly at an open house about a year ago and enjoyed talking to her, feeling much more of a connection than with other agents I talked to. Without being pushy, she was motivated enough to make me more serious about looking for a home, and over the following few months we looked at many homes. Thanks to her cheerful attitude, this procedure was actually a lot of fun for me, and it seemed like she was also enjoying what she was doing. She was patient with me to make sure I got a place that I really liked. Eventually we found one, and while the negotiations with the seller to settle on a price took a while, the procedure went smoothly after that and I bought the home (my first) that I'm very happy with so far. Katy has a few contacts (for mortgage, inspections, etc) that she likes to work with, and this helped to ensure that everything during the buying process was taken care of well in advance. I always felt that Katy really cared about finding the best home for me, and she remained helpful even after the deal had closed. I would highly recommend working with Katy to anybody looking for a real estate agent.
