Are you or is someone you know having trouble making your mortgage payments? I can help you by doing a Short Sale on your home.  A Short Sale is a situation where the seller is “upside down” and owes more on the mortgage than the house is worth. The seller & the Short Sale Specialist has to show the lender(s) they can no longer afford the mortgage payments due to a financial hardship i.e., job loss, divorce, on top of the market downturn, etc. The seller will provide a “hardship package” that shows the lender(s) that there is no alternative but to approve the short sale. Why would a Lender agree to a Short Sale?
The reality is that a short sale is better for the lender than a foreclosure. They do not want these properties back! Lenders and mortgage companies are better off negotiating a short sale so they can avoid carrying another non-performing loan on their balance sheet since they usually net more than what a sheriff’s sale will yield and they save on attorney’s fees and court costs. The critical element is to hire a Short Sale Specialist that understands the process. You will need to supply some key information and we have to convince the lender(s) that the value of your property has depreciated significantly and that you face financial hardships that are preventing you from meeting your financial obligations. A Short Sale can be a Win-Win for all parties.
