I was born in the small southern city of Beaufort, South Carolina. My parents were educators and while young lived in many interesting locales though out the deep south from Florida to North Carolina.

During my college years, at Wofford College, I had the opportunity to travel to New England where I learned to enjoy winter hiking, ice climbing and skiing.

After college I began working at Sugar Mountain Ski Resort in North Carolina. This is where I met my wife, Robin.

Robin and I became certified instructors and later became co-directors of the ski school at Beech Mountain Resort in North Carolina. Robin headed up the SKIwee children's ski school and daycare while I managed the ski school. For several seasons we led up a team of at least 50 instructors with lessons offered from 9am to 8pm each and every day.

While attending a ski instructor workshop I discovered Okemo. Robin and I both fell in love with Ludlow finding it to be the perfect blend of real town and ski town.

We moved to Ludlow in 1983 and worked at Okemo Mountain. Robin was the director of the SKIwee children's ski school and I was a ski school supervisor. I still maintain my Professional Ski Instructors Of America Level 3 certification.

When our two daughters were born, we settled in to our home in Mount Holly. I needed to expand my professional horizons and being self-motivated, liking the outdoors and relating well to people... Real Estate seemed like a great career opportunity for me.

Now after 21 years in the business I have enjoyed great success. I still love the Okemo Valley area, my home and being in real estate. I'm proud of Kelley Real Estate and all we have accomplished as a team since my ownership began in 1998.

Bought a Vacant Land home in 2012 in Brandon, VT.
Don Eatmon is extremely qualified and excellent in his field. He is very personable, knowledgeable, and attends to all issues with the client in a very timely manner. I would recommend him to anyone. He found us property when we first came to Vt and now we are back looking for a home to purchase. He, once again, has found a home for us that we are now in the process of getting.  MoreLess

    Bought a home in 2000.
Don Eatmon personifies what I believe you need in a Real Estate Agent. His knowledge of not only the area, but what it takes to live in the area is unmatched. I have found most agents look to sell what they have regardless of whether it fits the taste of the buyer. Don is not like that at all. In my case, Don took the time to know me and my family. He actually spent time getting to know us, and ultimately that led him to taking us to our dream home in Vermont. Most importantly Don Eatmon is a man of integrity. He's honest, forthright and speaks the truth. He can be trusted. To me that's what makes him so special. If you are looking for a house in Don's territory you need to contact Don Eatmon. I promise you he will make your house hunting experience a good one and when you do find that special place you'll be thankful Don Eatmon sold it to you.  MoreLess

Bought a Single Family home in 2011 in Eden, UT.
We were interested in buying a house in Utah. We had visited the area a few times in the winter skiing, but we were not familiar with the area other than just skiing. We knew nothing about which area would best suit us. Don Eatmon researched houses for us, found us a wonderful local realtor and then worked with us remotely (we were in Alabama, he was in Vermont, and the potential houses were in Utah). We couldn't have asked for a better experience. He helped us find the perfect house in the perfect neighborhood. He stayed in touch with us throughout the entire process. Couldn't have asked for anyone or anything better.  MoreLess
