Real estate encompasses all of my passions in life. I have always been addicted to the newest technology, the internet and of course the cell phone. I graduated from Queens University in Charlotte NC in 1998 with two degrees, Psychology and Business. I found my true passion in 2002 when I entered the world of real estate. My love for helping people, providing valuable guidance, running my own business and meeting new challenges has been exhilarating. 

Having moved all over the country at a very young age I considered myself a professional transfer student. Born in Indianapolis, raised in Soldotna Alaska my experiences have been wide and plentiful. I fell in love with North Carolina back in 1993 when I was awarded the Young Woman of the Year award for the state of Alaska. I then went on to win Alaska's National Teenager award and was honored with a second trip to the area. Both of these competitions were based on our competitive abilities in school as well as our leadership skills. I have always believed it was my talent that made me stand out in the competitions. In 1988 I earned my black belt in Karate, (Japanese) and have been competing ever since.

Since that time moving to Raleigh was the 7th move I had made. Raleigh's the best of AZ, AK, IN and NC! I love it here! This is where I started my family and as you can see I am the proud mommy of two girls, Kaitlyn 12 years and Kristen 11 years old.

Sold a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $375K in Durham, NC.

I can't sing the praises of Kelly DeBrosse and her awesome team enough. They were all very professional, efficient, and helpful. I watched the team prepare a property in another neighborhood and sell it immediately, and I knew I wanted to meet the realtor - Kelly. I called and set up an appt. and was not disappointed. I had spoken with other realtors who advised us to start lower on our price, but Kelly saw that it was special, and she had it sold for us in about 3 months when other properties in our neighborhood were taking a year or more to move at much lower prices! We had a few glitches with our buyers, and Kelly took care of everything with excellent negotiation skills. This was very important for us since it was a very emotional time to begin with. It was great to trust that we were in good hands and that she would handle things. I also have the same praises for everyone on her team. Our home was beautifully staged; we received advice and assistance on repairs; and everyone was very honest and made us feel very well taken care of. I wouldn't go anywhere else. I highly recommend meeting with Kelly DeBrosse to discuss your home sale. She's awesome at what she does!!  More Less

Sold a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $225K in Cary, NC.

We recently used Kelly and her team to sell and buy a house locally. We had an amazing experience. Kelly was our selling agent, she helped us stage and sell the house in no time flat (her staging person Shelly was great). Robert from her office was our buying agent and he was simply amazing. we literally were sad when we closed on our house because we knew we would not talk to Robert as much as we had grown used too. He was responsive and professional. Her team is top notch and were very patient with all our questions no matter how simple they seemed to us. It was exactly what we hoped it would be.  More Less

Sold a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $325K in New Hill, NC.

Kelly DeBrosse is simply a force of nature. She just gets it done.

We listed our home for sale with Kelly after having had a poor experience with another listing agent. Kelly was prepared, knowledgeable, and professional. She viewed our home and asked lots of intelligent questions, formulated a marketing strategy, advised us on what touch-ups and remodeling would give the most bang for the buck, and went to work. She arranged for the tradesmen that we needed (carpet, flooring, some light carpentry) and managed the work in coordination with our schedule and needs. She had her staging team come in and make the house stand out for the pictures and had high-quality professional photography done that really showcased the home well in the MLS listing (which is absolutely crucial today). She cunningly used the picture captions to do additional marketing beyond the space limitations of the MLS listing text itself. She had a beautiful tabloid-sized fold-out flier crafted in full color, leveraging the same gorgeous pictures. Throughout the process, she communicated thoroughly and clearly with us and stayed on top of all the details so we didn't have to worry about anything.

All I need to say about the effectiveness of her service is that within 24 hours of the listing going up on MLS, we'd had three showings and received a full-price offer, contingent only upon financing, not upon sale of the buyer's home or anything else.

We'd had it on the market for a month with a prior listing agent and gotten exactly one showing. Same property, radically different level of professional real estate sales capability. That agent was clueless about the importance of staging & pictures, and had posted pictures on their listing that were so drab and cheap that they spoke very poorly of the house. Kelly, by contrast, made her listing sing like Aretha Franklin.

It turned out that the buyer was a bit difficult to deal with, apparently being paranoid that everybody was out to do her wrong, even including her own agent (who seemed a bit challenged in managing the situation). She made a number of demands for repairs, some of which were reasonable but many of which were for silly or trivial things (caulking a faucet trim ring, replacing light bulbs in the attic -- really?!). Kelly and her team handled the interactions with grace and professionalism, but appropriate firmness, so that we negotiated a reasonable price reduction to offset a portion of the repairs the buyer wanted done and I didn't have to go do a bunch of trivial things that a normal buyer would just take on themselves. Kelly and her folks kept us calm and gave us hope in the midst of some unhelpful behavior on the part of the buyer, shepherding the deal to a successful conclusion. We closed last week and we wish the buyer well and wish Kelly and her team much success in the future. They'll have it, I think, because they'll continue to earn it.

In short, if you want to sell your house, list it with Kelly and do what she suggests. She'll make it happen.
