we have bought 2 homes (1 in windsor, canada and 1 in grosse ile, mi, usa); a condo in miami, florida and now this cabin in traverse city, mi. no realtor has come even close to ken and amy. i would rate the others between 3 to 5; before this experience i would have rated them between 6 and 8 but that was before we were lucky enough to deal with ken and amy. ken and amy raised the bar and are easily 10 PLUS!!!
we saw the cabin we were interested in on march 1, 2011; amy and ken showed us the cabin plus others they thought we might be interested on march 6th; they assisted us with EVERYTHING (going above and beyond) so that we closed on march 26, 2011.
the closing company they recommended to us was also marvelous - showed up at 3pm on a saturday to do the close and everything was "textbook" perfect.
they continue to help us even after the close. we needed the cabin inspected to have insurance on the cabin and ken met the insurance adjuster and took her to the cabin (it's hard to find!); we live 4 hrs away so being there for the adjuster was a problem - ken was happy to help when i asked (i knew he would be). when we went to look at the cabin we got stuck in the snow; amy helped with all the pushing and for the last 20 ft pushed us out with her 4 wheel drive!
ken and amy have lived in the area forever and know everything you'd want to know and more! buying real estate is very stressful, i know from my past 3 experiences; this time it was pretty much stress free, all thanks to amy and ken. any questions via email or phone were answered within hours if not minutes.
i have complete confidence in ken and amy and would recommend them to anybody - they are AWESOME!!
the only thing i would change on this review would be to add an extra star. "how likely are you to recommend this agent?" ****** ABSOLUTELY POSITIVE
