Bought a Single Family home in 2009 for approximately $350k in Highlands Ranch, CO.

Summary:

My wife Deborah and I moved to Highlands Ranch a little over 2 years ago from Wisconsin. Immediately we began going to Saturday and Sunday open houses. I'd collect business cards of agents I was impressed with and then ranked them accordingly. When we were ready to view homes with an agent, I called what I thought was my top ranked one and quite honestly, he blew us off. The agent next on my list was Brian Burke. I called him and he was at a service station getting work done on his vehicle. However, he told me he could be there in one hour and showed up in a beat up loaner car. That was impressive. Brian is not pushy and has a ton of patience. He makes you feel very relaxed and lets you decide on your home. And because he used to build homes, he would often point out flaws or potential problems which was very comforting. Also, Brian has lived in the immediate area pretty much his entire life so he has incredible local knowledge. He can tell you stories of what it used to be and look like 30 years ago. He might have been my 2nd pick but he should be your first.…More Less
