I would not hesitate to recommend Sal and Misty to anyone looking for real estate in the Florida Keys. Their local knowledge of the area is second to none. If they did not answer my phone call I was called back within minutes. Bought a Single Family home in 2011 for approximately $800k in Key Largo, FL.Summary:
I started in July and closed in February the following year. Having spent 8 months with them, I could not imagine anyone having difficulties with Sal and Misty. They are a great team. Their knowledge of real estate is only surpassed by their knowledge of the many diverse local intricacies of the Florida Keys. Today’s real estate market presents a wide range of challenges. From Short sales to Bank owned to local FSBO and then just regular listings, we viewed them all. Each presenting different scenarios that Sal and Misty navigated me through. Sal and Misty are excellent stewards representing everything good about the Keys and the Keys lifestyle. Thanks to Sal and Misty, I now not only have a home in the keys, I have the “right” home in the keys. They are truly worth contacting. I consider them friends.…More Less

Showed home in 2010 in North Key Largo, Key Largo, FL 33037.Summary:
I bought my house from Sal and Misty last August, here in Key Largo....after a year long search and looking at many many houses. In this time period...I never felt pressured to buy anything from either one. In fact...I had Misty or Sal each..on several occasions, talk me OUT of buying a house that I had initially showed interest in on MANY occuasions. Buying a bank house is tricky ...and you have to have good intel to make a good bid. Misty was the key in properly bidding on this house in a blind bank auction. . She knows her stuff. Most people guess to high or low..and lose. Getting one of these forclosures is truly like winning a lottery ticket ...IF it is truly a good deal and bought well below market. It requires lots of local knowledge ...prices...what the bank may take...etc....
The Keysc can be a tricky place to buy a house. Before I met Misty...I had several Realtors down here mis state facts....square footage...Fema requirements...many many times. Most will just flat out not answer your questions. They either dont DEFF not the case with Misty or Sal. I know this perhaps sounds like a sales job...but it is ALL TRUE...every word.
After buying my house...which was a bank forclosure with many issues because house was owner built- contracted and not complete yet with a CO...Misty spent many of her own days off going down to the county to help me get my permits. ..a process that took almost 7 months ! This is NOT an easy place to build or remodel a house ...trust me. It is not an easy place to buy a house. I had three different realtors before I ran across Misty. Most realtors down here are simply a waste of time...or will use decieving adds to get your name and contact..and then tell you anything to sell you what they have on their books. ..and cant get rid of. Misty was not that way with me. She was very patient. ..and always told me "you will know when you find your dream house...and not need anyone to tell you".…More Less
