EXPERIENCE & EXPERTISE

I have been licensed and have worked in the industry for over twenty years, both as an agent and as a top-selling account executive for a real estate marketing company. I have strong skills in communication, research, finance, negotiation and marketing and will use them to your best advantage.

KNOWLEDGE

I am familiar with all aspects of real estate including foreclosures, short sales and HUD properties.  I am an associate broker and have multiple certifications including the GRI, a designation that requires such a commitment to education that less than 10% all agents complete the program.  I attend continuing education classes and conferences regularly to stay abreast of this constantly-changing industry.

DEDICATION & SERVICE

When I work with a client, I am fully committed to them.  Their goals become my goals, and I will work tirelessly to meet them.  I strive to make their selling or buying experience as pleasurable and stress-free as I can, anticipating and resolving potential problems quickly and effectively.

SUCCESS

I measure my success through the satisfaction of my clients.  Please read the reviews that a few of them have submitted so you can be confident in your decision to choose me as your professional.

And if you are interested, a little more about me…

Although I was born in Tennessee, I've lived in Georgia so long that I think of myself as a native.  I grew up in metro Atlanta and have lived in Gwinnett, Clarke, Fulton and Jackson Counties.  I attended both The University of Georgia and Georgia State University where I earned a BA with a major in economics and a double-minor in Latin and ancient history.  I originally obtained my real estate license in 1994, but for fourteen years I worked primarily in the advertising/marketing sector of the industry.  As an account executive for The Real Estate Book, I gained valuable knowledge and experience about the ins and outs of real estate marketing and how important effective advertising is.  I also learned how to navigate through difficult business transactions and work with many different personality types - skills that are important in real estate.

Outside of real estate, my greatest love and interest is that of my family.  My husband, Shannon, is the broker and owner of our company.  He has been in real estate for almost thirty years as a builder, developer, broker and investor but now spends most of his time running his gun store.  He is an amazing husband and father to our two children, Kate (15) and John (12).  Our kids are wonderful - smart, funny, spirited, beautiful and kind (and everything else mom's know about their kids!)  My main "hobby" is parenting them the best way I can.  We travel as much as time permits and will go anywhere anytime the opportunity presents itself.  Shannon is a pilot so we are fortunate to have the ability to take quick trips when we can fit it into our schedule.  In the past few years our favorites have been Yellowstone National Park, Denali (we are some of the lucky few who got to see the highest peak without the clouds!), South America, cruising and camping through Alaska, and swimming with both manatees and dolphins in Florida.  In addition to traveling, I love to jog, watch "Survivor" (my only tv guilty pleasure), ride on the back of Shannon's motorcycle, roller skate and ride bikes with the kids.  I am an avid reader and am interested in anything from politics to personal growth to philosophy to parenting to biographies to fiction.

The rest of our family includes our great boykin spaniel, Colt, our beloved pet rabbits, Toffee, Panda and Little Bit, and our beta fish Zulu.

My family and I are members of 12Stone Church and try to guide our lives in the way Christ would desire. We live with thankfulness for Him and the many blessings He has given us!

Team reviews

Everyone at The Sell Group was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable about the local market. Kim walked me throw the process, as this was my first time selling a house, so during the entire time it was on the market and during closing I felt very comfortable and always knew where I stood in the process. My house was listed and sold in less than 2 months. She told me where I needed to price it at for the current market and she was right on. I can't recommend them enough and when it comes time to purchase another house, I will definitely use them again.

Sold a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $125K in Jefferson, GA.

We were trying to sell our house on an extremely strict deadline before were went into short sales status. We were prepared for it but a short sale is not what we really wanted. Kimberly and her team worked around the clock to make sure we got the house sold before the deadline we had. They were all very hardworking, dedicated and always easy to get a hold of. They were knowledgeable and able to answer all my questions. This was the first time I ever sold a house and it was a great experience. If I ever buy or sell in the future I will be using Kimberly to do so.  More Less

Sold a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $150K in Jefferson, GA.

Kimberly was the first agent we interviewed to sell our home in Jefferson, GA in late 2014, and we were so impressed with her obvious abilities, and interest in making sure we had a quick and flawless sale, that we chose her over 3 other agents that we had considered. Kimberly did exactly what she said she would do, there were no misconceptions at all as to what we were to expect from her. Our home sold very quickly, and every aspect of the sale clear through to the closing was handled very well on Kimberly's part. One thing that I am very touchy on is communication, and so is Kimberly, she stayed in touch with us at all times making sure we were aware of every action or change that may have taken place, no matter how minor it was, it was always very important to Kimberly to ensure we were kept abreast of all situations. We would not hesitate to use Kimberly again for a sale or a purchase, and would recommend her highly. If you're looking for a hard working agent who will get results for you than Kimberly is the person you want.  More Less
