Bought a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $425K in Stapleton, Denver, CO.
Kimberly found the perfect house for me in Stapleton and then went above and beyond when I had warranty issues MONTHS after Closing. She made sure that the problem was fixed properly and even arranged for someone trustworthy to meet the workers when I couldn’t escape from work. Kimberly really knows the Denver market and made my home buying experience in Denver so much better than I ever expected!

Listed, but didn't sell my home in 2012.
Kimberly Austin from ERA Herman Group was the most absolute worst realtor I've had the displeasure of trying to work with. I listed my home with her and from the very beginning she inaccurately listed the house. She listed the price wrong - by about 200K, put up pictures of another dwelling, and numerous other mistakes! All the time making excuses, blaming other people, and the CO MLS "system" for her mistakes. She was extremely unprofessional and argumentative. She failed to respond to communications from me and barged into my house with clients unannounced! She also harrassed me after I took the house off the market! I would highly discourage anyone from working with her in any capacity!

This review is completely false! I am assuming that this has been done by one of my competitors because I have sold nearly 50 homes in 2012 including all of my listings that have gone on the market. I would never treat a customer poorly. The person who wrote the review should have the courage to sign his/her name to the review.

Sold a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $350K in Stapleton, Denver, CO.
Kimberly was so helpful at my closing a couple of weeks ago. This would have been my firts home in CO so I was not familiar with closing on a home in CO. My realtor was not there for my closing or inspection. Kimberly stepped in and helped me with my part of the closing even though she was not my realtor. She answered my questions & helped me get my thoughts togather for the closing. She stoopped by my new home and wanted to make sure that I got the garage door opener as well. She was very helpful and ans had lots of information.

When you buy or sell a property you want fast results at a price that is acceptable to you. Kimberly knows the Stapleton area first hand because she lives there and knows the market in great detail. She has a very effective marketing system that allows her to attract both sellers and buyers to her listings. Since she knows the market so well she is attuned to getting you a good price whether you are a buyer or seller. Kimberly was responsible for getting an offer we accepted on the sale of our property within 30 days of listing. Her process is smooth and efficient and she and her assistant do a great job of handling all the behind the scenes details. If you want to buy or sell a property in the Stapleton area call Kimberly Austin.

Sold a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $550K in Stapleton, Denver, CO.
After having my house listed for over a year with another realtor, I hired Kimberly. I told her she had 60 days to sell my house or I was going to pull it off the market. She had my house sold in 45 days! She requested that I repaint the interior and have the house staged...I was very resistent at first, but she was right and it worked! If you need someone to get it done...I highly recommend Kimberly. A big THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We connected, but it did not work out. Looking in Lowry Field, Denver, CO
Buyers and sellers, be wary of this agent. Recently, we had a very uncomfortable conversation with this agent when calling about one of her listings in Lowry. We are very interested in the neighborhood and had been trolling around for houses for sale when we came upon a property we liked and called her directly, as we haven't teamed up with an agent exclusively yet. When we told her we didn't have agent but wanted to see property, she said "I don't just jump to show a half million dollar homes to non-serious buyers looking out of their price range, I'm one of the top agents at my firm and I take my job very seriously." Ummm, excuse me but what makes you think we aren't taking this seriously? We elaborated by telling her we were pre-approved for well over the purchase price, but just weren't sure about using a buy side agent. She continued to give us the run around and we were so turned off by her tone that we just decided to cross the property off our list all together to avoid dealing with this woman. Clearly an agent who does not have her seller's best interests in mind and is more focused on lining her pockets and holding on to her title as "top agent." Not impressed.

This was a two minute call. This guy called me on Easter Sunday and asked to see a home. Before asking the Sellers to leave their home with short notice on a holiday, I asked very standard questions: if he had been prequalified by a lender, if he was working with a realtor, etc. He indicated that I didn’t need to worry about his finances. Although nothing was in writing, he had been working with an agent and didn’t want to bother him to see the property. My responsibility to my Seller is to sell the home and not allow just any random, unqualified and super aggressive stranger into their home, as noted above. If you are a Seller, please know that I will list your home to get it SOLD and maintain the utmost professionalism by asking the right questions before allowing strangers into your home who may have ill intentions. This guy only had one thing right in his review--I DO take my Buyers and Sellers very seriously.

Sold a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $575K in Stapleton, Denver, CO.
Kimberly knew the neighborhood inside and out and the main reason I used her is because she was upfront and honest about what she thought I could get for my house. I wanted to know the hard facts because I needed to sell my house quickly.

Bought a Single Family home in 2013 for approximately $525K in Stapleton, Denver, CO.
We used Kimberly as a buyer's agent this summer to find a home in Stapleton. She has a wonderful personality and is very responsive, but she makes a better seller's agent than a buyer's agent. The first house we saw was listed at $475k and she encouraged us to pay full price. It did not sell at that price and the listing was removed. We liked a house that was listed at $520k, but questioned if it was really worth that much. She suggested it might already be sold and we felt pressured to bid full asking price. We withdrew our bid after further deliberation, and see that the price dropped to $490k a few weeks later. She suggested we put on offer on another house even before seeing it, continuing to create a high pressure sales environment. She showed us her own listing prior to making it public and told us she had someone else lined up to buy it when we having second thoughts. Overall, I ended up with a house that was not what I really wanted and probably overpaid because I felt pressured that I would "loose out".

Kimberly was well-prepared and informative with information related to the sale of our home. She is extremely knowledgeable about the Stapleton area of Denver and was able to sell our home within a reasonable and relatively quick time frame. Kimberly always made contact quickly and represented us well if any unforeseen issues arose. Kimberly is enthusiastic about selling homes and was a pleasure to work with.
