Kristin takes a balanced analytical approach to residential real estate, combining her expertise with demographics to examine past neighborhood population shifts with her GIS mapping experience to identify future hot spots, all to determine underlining local market trends. Beginning her real estate career with a top 3 Chicago commercial real estate firm, Kristin brings over many best practices to the residential side of the business, including tiered neighborhood site selection reports for investors, custom presentation-quality amenities maps for sellers, and "Love It or Leave It" home tour guides for buyers. Kristin's love for the real estate industry is well matched by her love for Chicago. Born and raised in the city, Kristin has worked, lived, and served in a majority of the 77 community areas, and specifically takes great pride in her knowledge of the city's Downtown and South Side communities. Kristin listens very closely to the goals of her clients, and uses her knowledge of the real estate market to bring those goals to fruition. Kristin is encouraging and patient, but firm with her first time home buyers; supportive and fair, but also direct with her experienced sellers. Kristin believes that all of her clients quickly see that she keeps their best interests at heart.
Kristin has dutifully represented landlords, sellers, investors, buyers, and renters in various Chicagoland communities such as the Gold Coast, Lakeshore East, Streeterville, Printer's Row, Roosevelt Collection, South Loop, Prairie District, Dearborn Park, West Loop, Fulton Market, Hyde Park, Jackson Park Highlands, South Shore, Beverly, University Village, Pilsen, Andersonville, West Rogers Park, as well as Evanston during her early tenure with Koenig & Strey.
Along with the traditional methods of property marketing, Kristin has embraced the use of social media to target and reach a new consumer audience with proven results. Whether it's utilizing her BowenLuxury Facebook page to get the word out about new construction apartment and condominium developments (such as 1345 Wabash slated for completion in late 2014), her LinkedIn profile to discuss the housing trends resulting from several major HQ relocations in and out of the city, or using Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest to advertise our newest listings, Kristin makes great use of the outlet that social media provides to connect with vast viewers.
Kristin is a proud University of Miami alum, earning her Bachelor of Arts in International Studies, with additional majors in Political Science and Geography. In her rare spare time, Kristin enjoys playing co-ed flag football, middle distance running, and snowboarding.
