Sold a home in 2011.Summary:
Kristen Cramer help me purchase my duplex back in 1995 as my buyer's broker. Fifteen years later she listed and sold my duplex as the seller's broker. In 1995 she demonstrated her excellent skills negotiating the price, work orders as a result of the structural inspection, closing and occupancy dates and more. In March of 2011, she listed my duplex and with a keen understanding of the local market was able to secure a buyer, negotiate a fair price and negotiate a rent-back until I could find my next home. I have consistently been impressed with Kristen Cramer's professional approach to her real estate business as she is always striving to improve her skills and acquire new designations. Showed home in 2011 in Seattle, WA.Summary:
Kristen was great. We looked for 9 months and she was very patient and understanding throughout. We are first time home buyers, and Kristen always took the time to explain things in detail, and she didn't mind answering the same question more than once! Kristen is always willing to share her knowledge about contractors, possible design solutions to issues, and is frequently knowledgeable about general remodeling costs. Bought a Single Family home in 2011 in Chantilly, VA.Summary:
Buying a home is exciting, but it can be stressful as well. Buying one 3,000 miles from where you live has the potential for being 3,000 times as stressful. Fortunately, working with Kristen was fully exciting and not at all stressful.
We were buying a condo as a second home near our daughter and her family, and so we started with Kristen's request for our priorities. We made two trips to Seattle. On our first trip, Kristen showed us around various neighborhoods, and showed us several condos that matched several of our priorities. It was a preliminary "let's take a look around, see what's on the market, and find out your likes and dislikes" kind of a trip. We saw a lot, and congratulated ourselves all the way home in the smart choice we'd made in selecting "our" agent.
Our second trip was three months later. During the interim, Kristen showed us online just about anything that matched our price range and most of our criteria. We let her know which ones we considered possibilities, and then Kristen previewed them. We don't know exactly how many hours she logged checking out the various condos, but it was considerable. She was in constant touch with us explaining the best/worst things about each condo and eliminating them when she felt they were simply not a good match. Her experience with the Seattle market, and her ability to keep our priorities in mind at all times were the keys to our successful second trip where we again saw several condos, all of which had been pre-screened by Kristen. We were able to easily (within 4 days) make a brilliant decision! There was no pressure from Kristen--she'd just done her job so well that we saw only real possibilities, one of which gently rose to the top of the list over the course of a few days. The light, the size, the location--almost everything on the list was accounted for and our biggest desire--a fun, walkable neighborhood was right up there at the top of the features list. More importantly, Kristen worked all this magic well within our budget.
For us, the entire process from start to closing was pretty painless and we owe that to Kristen who is as professional and ethical as they come. We highly recommend her if you're buying or selling in the Seattle area. She's smart, knowledgeable, and a whole lot of fun too!…More Less
